Synchron And Poseidon Present Their Third Interaction The New ‘Poseidon Black Edition’

Synchron teams up with Poseidon for its third collaboration, consummated in the new limited edition of 1000 pieces entitled ‘Poseidon Black Edition’.

A connection started in 2021 that brought together the Swiss brand with the Swedish manufacturer of diving equipment, which resulted in the robust military-inspired diving watch with a 1970s look. it was not surprising that in 2022 the formula was repeated with identical results and a year after the second iteration comes a third edition that now comes with a glossy black dial.

On the outside, the watch continues to dress the stainless steel case with its traditional shape that comes with a brushed finish, unidirectional bezel with Arabic numerals filled with luminescent material, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock, screwed case back numbered and engraved with the Poseidon logo and 300m of water resistance.

The black background of the dial, as already revealed, is the big news that now comes with indexes filled with “old radium” Super-LumiNova, everything else remains the same, namely the date window at 3 o’clock, the yellow Poseidon logo drawn at 4:30 and the white Synchron logo followed by the inscription “automatic” referring to the movement at 10:30.

Inside runs the Caliber La Joux-Perret G100 with 24 jewels that operate at 28,800 Vph and offer up to 68 hours of power reserve.

The new diver’s watch can be purchased with a Tropic-style strap in yellow or a black rubber strap and is available for pre-order now for USD 990 and is expected to ship in October.
