G-Shock Pays Tribute To The 751 Squadron of The Portuguese Air Force With Two Limited Editions

G-Shock joins the Portuguese Air Force to celebrate 45 years of the prestigious 751 Squadron. 

Squadron 751 is responsible for carrying out rescues in extreme conditions, covering an impressive maritime area of 5,754,848 square km, which is approximately 3,107,369 nautical miles. 

Over its 45 years of activity, Squadron 751 carried out thousands of rescue operations, saving more than 5,000 lives. 

To mark this historic milestone, G-Shock is bringing two exclusive limited editions of 45 units each, which come in a special wooden packaging engraved on the outside with the 751 Squadron insignia and the G-shock logo. 


G-Shock GG-B100SQN751-1AER

The first limited edition comes with the reference GG-B100SQN751-1AER, and in it we can find the G-Shock GG-100 model which features a robust carbon case with dimensions of 55.40 mm by 51.30 mm and a thickness of 19.40 mm, mineral glass, 200m water resistance, mud resistance and a weight of just 92g. 

Inside, the quartz module is equipped with a sensor for measuring direction, atmospheric pressure, altitude and temperature, in addition to the usual clock, chronograph, alarm functions, among others. 

Finally, the watch comes attached to a carbon strap with the yellow inscription “SQN751 SINCE 1978” and can be purchased for €449.

G-Shock MTG-B3000SQN751-1AER

The second exclusive edition MTG-B3000SQN751-1AER comes equipped with the MTG-B3000 model in an intricate steel case with dimensions of 51.90mm by 50.90mm and a case height of 12.10mm, sapphire crystal and 200m water resistance. 

Inside it is powered by solar energy, which comes with timekeeping by Bluetooth and Radio Control, multi-hand chronograph, dual time, alarm, LED light, date display, among others. 

The watch is attached to a resin strap also printed in yellow with the same phrase as the other edition relating to the name of the Squadron and the date it began its activity, and is available for € 1,249.
