Baltic Teams Up With Perpétual To Present The Tropical Tricompax Limited Edition
Baltic together with Perpétual Gallery presents a limited edition of 200 pieces called Tropical Tricompax for the Middle Eastern market.
Perpétual Gallery is a watch retailer based in Dubai that, in addition to transacting major brands, also works with microbrands such as Baltic.
It is in this context that the idea for this exclusive chronograph was born, which, in addition to the beautiful textured dial in shades of brown, features Middle East-Arabic numerals that are today and increasingly sought after by avid collectors and enthusiasts.
The watch arrives in a 316L stainless steel case, with dimensions of 39.50 mm in diameter, 13.50 mm in thickness and 47 mm lug-to-lug distance, mainly brushed finish, fixed bezel with black Tachymeter insert, drilled lugs, glass sapphire, fluted crown decorated with ‘B’ for Baltic, flanked by two pushers that serve to handle the chronograph function, screwed solid case back which, in addition to the signatures of the two brands, comes with individual numbering, and finally, 50m water resistance water.
But let’s go to the main dish, which is its beautiful tropical dial, which comes with a gradient effect whose brown tone intensifies from the centre to the outside. Alongside the off-white Middle Eastern Arabic numerals painted on the dial, we can also find a Tricompax layout consisting of a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter and a running seconds at 3-6-9 o’clock all with East Arabic numerals, and a minute track Chapter ring matching the tone of the hour markers. The dial is completed with blackened Dauphine faceted hands filled with luminescent material and the brand’s lettering at noon.
Inside is the Sellita SW510-M manual movement that brings the watch to life, reaching 28,800 Vph and offering up to 60 hours of power reserve.
The watch is attached to a flat-link steel bracelet that has central links matching the brushed finish of the case and polished side links and it can be purchased exclusively at the Perpetual Gallery store for an approximate price of €2,200 (tax excluded).
