Jaeger-LeCoultre teams up again with Mr Porter to pay homage to the stylish city of Sydney.

A collaboration started in 2021 that chooses the most stylish cities in the world in the eyes of Mr Porter, and Sydney is the next lady after the cities of Los Angeles and Singapore.

A tribute is paid to each of the chosen cities in the form of limited editions of the famous Reverso watch from the Swiss watchmaker, which comes with a slide case back engraved with a design alluding to each city.

And if in the last two editions the landmarks chosen had been the city of Los Angeles against a background of the Santa Monica mountains and Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands with the famous three-tower hotel with SkyPark, in the Sydney edition the landmarks chosen are the harbour city brightened by the Sydney Opera House and The Harbour Bridge.

Like previous editions, the watch is housed in a classic stainless steel Reverso case measuring 45.6mm by 27.40mm, sapphire glass, fluted crown at 3 o’clock and 30m water resistance.

We find the usual layout on its silvered dial, with a guilloche centre where we can also find petrol blue central hands and a small seconds at 6 o’clock. Next to the edges, we find a smooth surface with a vertical brushed finish decorated with black Arabic numerals.

The watch is powered by the JLC 822/2 19-jewel manual movement, which operates at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.

This limited edition, attached to a brown Casa Fagliano calf leather strap, is for sale exclusively at Mr Porter’s online store for GBP 10,425.
