A New Tribute To The British Capital: The Arnold & Son HM London Skyline
To mark two important milestones, Arnold & Son and luxury watch retailer The Limited Edition have joined forces to create a special commemorative timepiece. Celebrating Arnold & Son’s 260th anniversary and The Limited Edition’s 10th year in business, the new HM London Skyline pays tribute to the city that connects both brands through their shared British heritage.
A London-Inspired Work of Art
The highlight of the HM London Skyline is undoubtedly its intricately crafted dial, which presents a detailed panorama of some of London’s most recognizable landmarks. Created from mother-of-pearl, the dial showcases a layered cityscape featuring Tower Bridge in the foreground, while the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and St Paul’s Cathedral emerge in the distance.

The scene is enhanced by subtle shading across the upper section of the dial, creating the impression of a twilight sky and adding depth to the silhouette-like architecture. The use of mother-of-pearl provides a dynamic surface that changes character depending on the light, further enriching the visual presentation.
Two Skylines in One Watch
What makes the HM London Skyline particularly distinctive is its dual-personality display. During daylight hours, the watch presents a classic depiction of historic London. However, in darkness, a second skyline appears through the use of Super-LumiNova.

Modern landmarks including The Shard, The Gherkin, and the London Eye illuminate in vivid blue, creating a contemporary interpretation of the city. Even the clock face of Big Ben receives luminescent treatment, adding an extra layer of detail to the nighttime display.
This transformation effectively combines London’s architectural heritage with its modern identity, offering two different perspectives of the city within a single timepiece.
Slim Case with Elegant Proportions
The HM London Skyline is housed in a refined 39.50 mm case measuring just 7.82 mm in thickness. These dimensions give the watch a sleek profile while maintaining a strong presence on the wrist.

Arnold & Son offers the model in two case materials: stainless steel and 18-carat red gold. Both versions emphasize the brand’s traditional approach to elegant watchmaking while providing collectors with a choice between a contemporary or more luxurious aesthetic.
The In-House Calibre A&S1001
Powering the HM London Skyline is Arnold & Son’s manually wound A&S1001 calibre. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the movement showcases a range of traditional decorative finishes.

The bridges feature arabesque Côtes de Genève patterns radiating from the balance wheel, while perlage decorates the lower surfaces. Additional finishing includes circular brushing on the gear train and barrel covers, highlighting the attention to detail throughout the movement.
Beyond its visual appeal, the A&S1001 delivers a substantial 90-hour power reserve and displays the hours and minutes.
Limited Availability
The Arnold & Son HM London Skyline is released as a highly exclusive edition limited to only 20 pieces. The stainless-steel version is priced at GBP 15,000, while the red gold model is available for GBP 23,500, both before taxes.

Combining artistic craftsmanship, a unique day-and-night interpretation of London’s skyline, and an elegantly finished manufacture movement, the HM London Skyline serves as a fitting celebration of the longstanding British roots shared by Arnold & Son and The Limited Edition.
