Citizen Debuts Captain America Forever Watch
Citizen celebrates the story of the first Avenger, Captain America, the Marvel Superhero created in 1940 who wears the colors of America and fights with his powerful indestructible shield for freedom against the forces of the Axis of Evil.
The new military-inspired Citizen Captain America Forever stands out for its lumed dial accents and superhero logo, powered by Eco-Drive technology attached to a Cordura strap.
It is housed in a 40mm round polished stainless steel case, smooth bezel, mineral glass on the front with strong resistance to impacts and scratches, knurled crown at 3 o’clock, solid case back with the Avengers symbol painted in Captain America’s colours and 50m water resistance water.
The black dial features a sunray effect with big Arabic numerals at 3 and 9 o’clock in Army font which also extends to the minute track numbers, a large triangle at noon and a small seconds mimicking the Marvel character’s shield at 6 o’clock and sword centre hands all filled with luminescent material that glows light blue in the dark, and lastly, a date window with a white background next to the crown.
Inside we find the Quartz B690 Eco-Drive movement charged by light that does not require changing the battery when properly powered.
The watch is attached to a grey Cordura bund strap with a steel pin buckle, which can be purchased for USD 395.
