Among the highlights are a special Orient Star Layered Skeleton and two commemorative Orient Mako 75th Anniversary editions. Orient Star Layered Skeleton: Champagne and Mint Green Elegance

The Orient Star Layered Skeleton collection receives a seasonal refresh with two new references. The first is the RE-AV0B10G, which features a champagne-gold dial and is part of the permanent collection. It comes paired with a brown leather strap, offering a refined and elegant look. The second is the RE-AV0B11E, a mint green-dialed limited edition of only 700 pieces, which is matched with a five-link stainless steel bracelet for a more contemporary appeal.

Both watches feature a two-layered semi-skeletonized dial that showcases the mechanical movement through an open-heart display positioned between 7 and 10 o’clock. The dial includes applied silver-tone indexes, Roman numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock, a power reserve indicator at 12, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock.

The stainless steel case has a round shape and measures 41mm in diameter, 13.6mm in thickness, and 48.3mm lug-to-lug. It combines brushed surfaces with polished accents on the bezel and bevels. Orient Mako 75th Anniversary Editions: Classic Diver’s Charm

The iconic Orient Mako diver collection expands with two special limited editions in honor of the brand’s 75th anniversary. These models include the RA-AA0823L, part of the standard Mako line, and the RA-AC0Q12L, from the Mako 40 series.

Both watches showcase a striking blue sunray dial with a grooved texture and a retro-inspired Orient logo at the 12 o’clock position. A gold-tone second hand adds a celebratory touch to the overall aesthetic.

The Mako version features a stainless steel case that measures 41.8mm in width and 12.8mm in thickness. It includes a blue unidirectional diving bezel, a screw-down crown with guards, a screw-down case back, and is water-resistant to 200 meters. The Mako 40 version comes with a slightly smaller 39.9mm case and the same thickness, a metallic bezel, a screw-down crown without guards, and also provides 200 meters of water resistance.

Both watches are fitted with sapphire crystals and are powered by Orient’s reliable automatic movements. The Mako uses the Caliber F6922, while the Mako 40 runs on the Caliber F6722. Each movement contains 22 jewels, operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz), and delivers a 40-hour power reserve. The Mako 75th Anniversary edition is priced at €429.99, while the Mako 40 limited edition is priced at €399.99.

New Orient Mako 40 Models: Red, Gray, and Green Dials Join the Lineup

Alongside the anniversary models, Orient is introducing three fresh additions to the Mako 40 series, expanding the permanent collection with new dial colors: red, gray, and green.

The red-dialed model, reference RA-AC0Q09R, comes on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. The gray-dialed variant, RA-AC0Q0N, features a black-coated case and is matched with a rubber strap in the same tone, fastened with a steel pin buckle. The green model, RA-AC0Q11E, follows a similar aesthetic, also arriving on a color-matched rubber strap with a steel buckle.

These Mako 40 models are housed in stainless steel cases measuring 39.9mm in diameter and 12.8mm in thickness. The dials present a clean and smooth texture, with applied indexes, a framed date window next to the crown, and luminescent-filled hands and markers for improved legibility. The watches maintain the line’s robust credentials with a screw-down crown and case back, sapphire crystal, and 200 meters of water resistance.

All three variants are powered by the Caliber F6722 automatic movement, offering 22 jewels, a frequency of 3Hz, and a 40-hour power reserve. Pricing for the new Mako 40 models has not yet been officially released but is expected to align with existing models in the collection.
