TAG Heuer is marking the final Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort with two special editions of its Formula 1 Solargraph. Created around the latest 38 mm Formula 1 platform, the watches combine the collection’s colourful motorsport-inspired design with a solar-powered movement and a compact case intended for everyday wear.

Both references feature a 38 mm sandblasted stainless steel case, giving the surface a uniform matte appearance that contrasts with the vibrant orange bezel. The bezel is made from TAG Heuer’s TH-Polylight material and retains the distinctive daisy-style profile associated with the modern Formula 1 collection. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while 100 metres of water resistance adds practical versatility beyond the racetrack.

A dial built around contrast

The dial uses a soft grey opaline base as the foundation for the bright orange and red details. An orange chapter ring frames the dial, while the hands and selected details introduce additional red accents.

The red lacquered hands and applied hour markers feature eggshell-coloured Super-LumiNova, providing green illumination in low-light conditions. The shield-shaped markers at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock are another recognisable Formula 1 design element, linking these contemporary models with the collection’s established visual language.

Despite the strong use of colour, the grey dial keeps the overall composition relatively balanced. The result is a watch where the orange bezel and chapter ring provide the most immediate visual impact without making the entire dial dependent on the same colour.

Solar-powered Formula 1

Powering both editions is TAG Heuer’s TH50-00 Solargraph movement. Rather than relying on a conventional disposable quartz battery, the Solargraph system uses light to generate and store energy.

The movement can be charged by both natural and artificial light. According to TAG Heuer, just one minute of exposure to direct sunlight can provide enough energy for approximately one day of operation. A complete charge requires less than 40 hours of light exposure and can provide up to 10 months of autonomy when the watch is kept in complete darkness.

The rechargeable accumulator is designed to provide approximately 15 years of service before requiring replacement, adding another practical advantage to the Solargraph architecture. For an everyday sports watch, the combination of quartz accuracy, light-powered operation and long periods of autonomy means very little maintenance is required from the wearer.

Two ways to wear the Zandvoort editions

The two limited editions share the same case, dial and movement, but differ in their bracelets and production numbers.

The first version is limited to 1,500 pieces and comes fitted with an orange rubber strap. This configuration maximises the connection with the visual identity of the Dutch Grand Prix, with the strap matching the prominent orange TH-Polylight bezel.

The second reference is limited to 1,000 pieces and is offered exclusively online. Instead of the rubber strap, it is fitted with a sandblasted three-link stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet gives the watch a more monochromatic appearance while retaining the orange bezel as its main accent.

Both versions are supplied in dedicated limited-edition packaging.

A compact Formula 1 with modern technology

With its 38mm case diameter, the new Formula 1 Solargraph editions sit within the increasingly popular smaller end of the contemporary sports-watch market. The dimensions also complement the Formula 1 collection’s historical emphasis on compact, colourful watches.

More importantly, the Zandvoort editions bring together several of the collection’s defining characteristics: a lightweight-feeling and highly visual TH-Polylight bezel, a robust stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, 100-metre water resistance and a solar-powered quartz movement.

Unimatic expands its Toolwatch collection with the new UT1-PD Prodiver, a purpose-built dive watch that combines the Italian brand’s minimalist design language with a specification sheet focused on durability and reliability. A Purpose-Built 300-Metre Diver

A Partnership For Healthier Oceans

Christopher Ward has supported the Blue Marine Foundation since 2019, donating 2% of all Trident collection revenue to the organisation while also raising additional funds through dedicated collaborative editions. To date, the partnership has generated approximately GBP 750,000 for marine conservation projects.

The new Trident 30×30 takes its name from the global 30×30 initiative, an international effort aimed at protecting 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030. Just two years after launching Grøne as a more accessible extension of the renowned Grönefeld manufacture, the Dutch brand continues to expand its collection with the new Oldenzaal Horologium. Designed as an elegant manual-wind dress watch, the latest release combines traditional proportions, subtle vintage-inspired details and two distinct dial executions, all while remaining true to the brand’s contemporary character.

A Refined Stainless Steel Case

The Grøne Oldenzaal Horologium comes in a stainless steel case measuring 39 mm in diameter and 10 mm in thickness, striking a balanced size suitable for everyday wear as well as more formal occasions.

Compared to previous Grøne models, the case has been refined with a vertically brushed caseband contrasted by polished bezel and caseback surfaces, creating greater visual depth. The redesigned lugs now curve more naturally towards the wrist, improving comfort while preserving the watch’s elegant profile. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while another sapphire window on the caseback reveals the movement.

Two Distinct Personalities

The watch is offered in two versions, each limited to 188 pieces, allowing buyers to choose between a bold contemporary aesthetic or a more understated classic appearance.

The “Something Quirky” edition features a matte orange dial paired with vivid blue alpha-shaped hands, giving the watch a playful personality inspired by the brand’s Dutch heritage.

For those preferring a more traditional look, the “Something Classic” version combines a sunburst salmon dial with darker blue hands for a warmer, dressier appearance.

Despite their different colour schemes, both share the same overall architecture, including a recessed silver small seconds display at 6 o’clock, faceted applied hour markers and a raised inner chapter ring that lends the dial a subtle sector-style layout with timeless appeal.

Powering the Oldenzaal Horologium is a hand-wound movement based on the La Joux-Perret G100 calibre. The 29-jewel movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and delivers a power reserve of up to 60 hours, providing solid everyday performance.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement receives a refined level of finishing, featuring Côtes de Genève, polished bevels, and heat-blued screws, while a customised Grøne bridge gives it a distinctive identity that reflects the brand’s attention to detail.

Exclusive Details

One unique feature is reserved for the orange “Something Quirky” model. Its sapphire caseback carries the Dutch inscription “Zoals het klokje thuis tikt, tikt het nergens,” a traditional saying that translates roughly to “Home Sweet Home,“ paying tribute to the brand’s origins. The salmon “Something Classic” version instead features a clean sapphire caseback without additional engraving.

Breitling has unveiled two new Endurance Pro 44 Ironman World Championship 2026 limited editions, celebrating its ongoing partnership with Ironman through two colourful chronographs inspired by the venues of this year’s flagship events. Designed for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts alike, the new releases combine the lightweight construction and functionality of the Endurance Pro with distinctive colour schemes representing Kona, Hawaii, and Nice, France.

A Lightweight Case Built for Performance

Built around Breitling’s proprietary Breitlight case, the watches measure 44 mm in diameter, 12.50 mm thick, and 52.45 mm lug-to-lug. The ultra-light and highly resistant composite material is complemented by a bidirectional bezel featuring a solar compass scale, a screw-down crown with protective guards, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and 100 metres of water resistance.

Two Colourways Inspired by Ironman’s Championship Venues

The first model pays tribute to the 2026 Ironman World Championship in Kona, where the men’s and women’s races return to the same day and venue for the first time since 2019. It is distinguished by turquoise accents on the rubber strap, crown insert and upper chronograph pusher, while the dial retains a stealthy black appearance highlighted by the multicoloured Ironman logo at 6 o’clock and a matching coloured chapter ring.

The second edition honours the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, drawing inspiration from the warm tones of the French Riviera. Here, the turquoise details are replaced by light orange salmon, while the dial gains a black-to-orange gradient finish that further differentiates it from its Hawaiian counterpart.

Both watches feature a highly legible black dial with oversized Arabic numerals, Super-LumiNova-filled hands and hour markers, and a tricompax chronograph layout. Honda’s Motocompo is one such example, and to mark the 45th anniversary of the foldable scooter, Seiko has created a dedicated limited edition within its 5 Sports collection. The new HDB010 draws inspiration from the Motocompo’s unmistakable styling, translating many of its distinctive design elements into a compact mechanical field watch.

The watch is based on Seiko’s compact 5 Sports Mid-Field platform, featuring a stainless steel case measuring 36.40 mm in diameter, 12.50 mm thick and 44.40 mm lug-to-lug. Its proportions make it suitable for a wide range of wrists while maintaining the rugged character of the collection.

Natural stone dials continue to gain popularity across the watch industry, and Chronoswiss is the latest independent manufacturer to embrace the trend with two new additions to its Small Second collection. Limited to just 50 pieces each, the new Small Second Jasper and Small Second Serpentine combine the brand’s signature regulator-inspired aesthetics with distinctive semi-precious stone dials that ensure no two watches are exactly alike.

Two Unique Stone Dials

The highlight of each watch is its dial, crafted from a different natural stone. The Small Second Jasper features golden-brown jasper sourced from Idar-Oberstein, Germany, displaying warm earthy tones with naturally occurring dark veins that create a unique pattern on every watch.
