Introducing The New Bulgari Aluminium x Vision GT
Bulgari teams up with Gran Turismo to present two limited editions celebrating the 10th anniversary of Vision Gran Turismo (VGT).
The two new chronographs are inspired by the dashboard-style Supercars of the 90s, which include a more exclusive edition of 500 pieces that comes with a yellow dial and three black registers and the other of 1,200 units that features an anthracite dial with the same black registers and yellow accents. Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani designed both the watch and the concept car.
The watches that are part of Bulgari’s aluminium collection are presented in a round case measuring 41mm in diameter and 11mm thick, the typical rubberized bezel with the brand’s name engraved around it, sapphire glass on the front, DLC-coated titanium crown, pushers and case back, and finally 100m water resistance.
The matte dials feature the traditional layout of three registers at 3-6-9 o’clock consummated in running seconds, a 12-hour counter and a 30-minute counter respectively, and which come with a sunburst finish. Printed stick hour markers and Arabic numeral marking noon, a tachymeter scale drawn on the perimeter, a date window with a white background at 4:30 and finally the inscriptions with the brand’s lettering followed by the name of the collection at noon.
Inside is the Sellita SW300 automatic movement with the Dubois Dépraz module that powers the watch forward, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The chronograph, which comes attached to the usual integrated aluminium and rubber strap, can be purchased for €5,200. Additionally, a limited 24-hour sale will begin on the official Bulgari website and features a special one-time-only packaging that in addition to the watch contains a replica of the Bulgari car and the opportunity to drive it in the new GT real driving simulator.
