Blancpain celebrates the Chinese Year of the Snake in 2025 with a remarkable edition of its Villeret Traditional Chinese Calendar, combining artistry, tradition, and mechanical complexity. This year’s exclusive release features a polished platinum case, a radiant green Grand Feu enamel dial, and intricate calendar displays that bridge the solar-based Gregorian calendar with the lunar-based Chinese calendar. The platinum case measures 45.20mm in diameter and 15.10mm thick, offering a sophisticated presence on the wrist. Hidden correctors allow seamless adjustments to the calendar functions, and the watch is protected by sapphire crystal on both sides, while offering 30m water resistance. The green enamel dial showcases stunning craftsmanship with white gold leaf-shaped hands for hours and minutes and a serpentine hand for the Gregorian date, accentuated by Arabic numerals around the edge.
