Unimatic Presents Two New Modello Quattro Watches

Time for a new Pitch Watch.

Unimatic has just released two new (limited) editions of its Modello Quattro (U4) field watch in partnership with the BAIT brand, which stands out for its robust appearance from its 40mm stainless steel case with a wide bezel and its impressive 300m of water resistance.

The two new editions differ from the classic edition by now presenting a case with a bead blasted finish instead of the previous brushed finish and by replacing the previous geometric shapes on the dial with small sans serif roman numerals and railroad chapter rings.

The U4-BTS comes with a polar white crosshair dial limited to 100 units and also presents a navy lollipop second hand, while the U4-BTY model comes with a lemon gold dial limited to 50 units and featuring a gillted lollipop second hand.

Everything else remains the same compared to the U4 Classic model, namely the distinctive steel case with large crown and crown guards, flat sapphire crystal, drilled lugs and screwed case back now featuring the recordings of “UNIMATIC x BAIT” together with the individual progressive number.

And if on the outside, as we’ve already seen, the new features are few on the inside at the mechanical level, they are none, conserving the Seiko NH35A automatic movement that operates at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.

Finally, both watches come with a two-piece strap instead of the previous nylon nato strap, in blue Capri for the polar white variant and in marrow brown for the lemon gold variant, and can now be ordered from the BAIT website for the price of $525.
