Yema Teams Up With Alain Silberstein For The Exclusive 500-Piece Marine Watch

The new Yema Marine, a collaboration with renowned designer Alain Silberstein, offers a bold and unique aesthetic, standing out as a departure from Yema’s typical designs. Known for his distinctive use of geometric shapes and primary colours, Silberstein has infused this watch with his signature style, not only redesigning the dial but also crafting the entire case. Unlike other Yema models, the Marine is truly a creation of its own.

The watch features a 40mm round micro-blasted Grade 5 Titanium case, coated in black DLC for a sleek, modern finish. It has a height of 11mm and a length of 44.50mm, making it a comfortable and wearable option for most wrists. A double-domed sapphire crystal enhances both durability and visibility, while the case’s straight lugs are integrated into the rear, contributing to its distinct look. The watch also includes two screw-down crowns at the 2 and 4 o’clock positions, with the first crown capped in blue for controlling the inner bezel. With a water resistance rating of 200m, it’s designed to handle a variety of conditions.

The matte black dial is classic Silberstein, with applied indexes filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility. The bezel, which is bidirectional, features dots filled with the same luminescent material, with the first 20 minutes highlighted in blue. The central hands showcase the designer’s playful creativity: the hour hand is shaped like a red triangle, the minute hand is a large yellow arrow, and the second-hand takes the form of a blue starfish.

Turning the watch over, the sapphire caseback reveals electro-plated Koi fish and offers a view of the Manufacture Caliber CMM.20 micro-rotor movement. Developed in collaboration with Olivier Mory, this movement operates at 28,800 Vph and delivers a 70-hour power reserve, with eye-catching blackened bridges and a red rotor.

Paired with a black FKM rubber strap and an additional red strap, the Yema Marine is limited to just 500 units. Priced at €3,900, pre-orders open on October 21, 2024, with deliveries expected in February 2025.

Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein Le Régulateur Tourbillon Arrives Now In Black

Here’s another collaboration between Louis Erard and Alain Silberstein that promises not to stop there, bringing back the same Le Régulateur Tourbillon from last year but now in black.

It was last October that we saw the arrival of the Le Régulateur Tourbillon integrated into The Triptyque in khaki colour, and as the name suggests it is based on the design of the Le Régulateur but to which it adds a tourbillon to the small seconds.

On the outside, the watch once again wears the case revealed in 2021, which comes in titanium with dimensions of 40mm in diameter and 11.80mm in thickness, featuring independent lugs that hold the central round-shaped case, sapphire crystal on both sides, fluted crown at 3 o’clock and 100m water resistance.

On the black dial, the usual bright colour scheme, with a wide centre arrow-shaped hand that provides the minutes aided by a raised rehaut painted with a minute track in white and yellow, a silver register at noon that provides the hours through black and red markers and a red triangle-shaped hand, a 60-seconds tourbillon at 6 o’clock with a wavy yellow hand and finally the Louis Erard logo and lettering in white next to the crown.

Inside, the Caliber BCP T02 by Olivier Mory manual movement keeps running, which reaches 21,600 Vph and offers up to 100 hours of power reserve, which can be observed through the open rear case.

Like The Triptyque’s previous Le Régulateur Tourbillon, it comes with a black nylon strap with a Velcro closure and is limited to the same 78 units, which can be purchased for CHF 15,900.
