TAG Heuer Revives The Carrera Day-Date Collection With Six New Models
TAG Heuer brings back the Carrera Day-Date collection, a tribute to its enduring motorsports legacy. The latest lineup introduces six references, including five Day-Date models and one Carrera Date Twin-Time, all featuring a 41mm stainless steel case with a brushed and polished finish. Measuring 12.57mm in thickness and 47.50mm in length, the case design is complemented by a domed sapphire crystal, a slim polished bezel, a fluted crown at 3 o’clock adorned with the brand’s logo, and a screw-down open case back. Offering 100 meters of water resistance, these new Carrera models seamlessly blend sportiness with elegance.

The Day-Date lineup includes a striking blue dial version with a sunray brushed finish and another featuring a captivating smoked red dial, both paired with rhodium-plated indexes, hands, and a day-date window. These two references come fitted with a robust three-row stainless steel bracelet. Also within the collection, two models showcase a black opaline dial accented with luxurious 18k 5N rose gold-plated details. Buyers can choose between a full stainless steel bracelet or a two-tone bracelet combining steel with 18k 5N rose gold elements.

Another standout reference features a grained black dial highlighted by a lacquered red seconds hand and blue details, extending to its perforated black leather strap. All five Day-Date models incorporate a dual-window display for the day and date at 3 o’clock with a black background and are powered by the TH31-02 automatic movement, delivering an impressive 80-hour power reserve.

The Carrera Date Twin-Time, the only GMT model in the collection, sports a vibrant teal dial with a sunray brushed finish. Enhancing its functionality is a 24-hour bi-color bezel, working in unison with the additional center-mounted GMT hand that features a striking red tip. Applied Arabic numerals contribute to its legibility, while a discreet date window is positioned at 6 o’clock. This model is powered by the 30-jewel TH31-03 automatic movement, also offering an 80-hour power reserve. Paired with a stainless steel bracelet, the Twin-Time adds a refined yet practical option for frequent travelers.

Pricing for the new TAG Heuer Carrera Day-Date collection starts at CHF 3,900 for the leather strap variant, while the two-tone steel and 18k 5N rose gold model reaches CHF 8,250. With a perfect blend of heritage-inspired aesthetics, modern mechanics, and premium finishes, this collection reinforces TAG Heuer’s standing in the world of luxury sports watches.
