TAG Heuer Presents Three New Watches to Celebrate 60 Years of the Autavia Line

Tag Heuer Autavia celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, with its name and history inevitably linked to speed, it was almost forgotten until 2019 when it was reborn again at the time of the launch of the three-hand Autavia. Today, to mark the date, the brand launches three new Autavia watches, two Flyback Chronographs and a Three-Hand GMT.

Starting with the features common to all of them, 42mm diameter stainless steel case, bi-directional bezel with ceramic insert, front sapphire crystal, crown with the brand’s logo and 100 meters of water resistance. On the dial, applied Arabic hour markers and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova and date window at 6 o’clock. All models are COSC chronometer-certified and come with a quick-change strap system that allows you to change the strap quickly and without the need for any tools.

As far as the Flyback Chronograph is concerned, they are offered in two variants, the “Panda” dial that comes with white/silver dial and black subdials, and a blacked-out variant that is distinguished on the outside by the DLC-coated and on the inside by the uniform black dial. On the dial, a 30-minute counter at 3, a small seconds at 6 and a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock.

As for the case, both models also feature a black bezel with a minute scale and open-through case back through which the Caliber Heuer 02 automatic movement can be seen, which offers up to 80 hours of power reserve and stands out by its column wheel with red inscriptions.

The new Autavia three-hand GMT comes with a blue dial and white indexes, in addition to the orange arrow-shaped GMT hand that operates in partnership with a black and blue “Batman” bezel. The watch is powered by the Caliber 7 COSC GMT which is based on the Sellita SW300 which offers up to 50 hours of power reserve.

The chronographs are offered with a black leather strap priced from €5,950 while the GMT model is offered with a stainless steel bracelet priced from €4,000.
