Swatch Starts 2022 with the New Clear Collection
Thinking about the new resolutions for this new year and leaving the past behind, Swatch now decides to present its new Clear collection.
First introduced in 1985 through a Gent model, Swatch introduced the world to its first emblematic transparent watch.
The new Clear collection maintains the characteristics of the classic transparent model from the ’80s with red hour, blue minute and yellow second hands, silver inner ring with black indices and transparent case and strap.
There are five new models that make up the new Swatch Clear collection, starting with the Clearly Bold, which comes in a 47mm Big Bold case, it is also offered in another variant, the Clearly Big Bold, which distinguishes itself from the previous one by incorporating additional functionality SwatchPAY which allows you to make contactless payments when associated with a bank payment card.
The Clearly Gent and Clearly New Gent are two other new models in the collection that are offered in 34mm and 41mm cases respectively, and which feature “glass” and cases sourced biologically material, while also receiving a glossy finish across the entire surface of the watch which includes case, strap and buckle.
Finally, the Clearly Skin, inserted in Swatch’s finest line, is offered in a 34mm case of biological origin and which distinguishes itself from the other models in the collection by coming with the Swatch logo in yellow printed on the glass of the dial to replace the yellow second hand of other models as this one does not have this functionality.
The models will be available at the brand’s official stores and retailers, as well as at the brand’s online store, with prices starting at €70. The Clearly Big Bold model’s contactless payment functionality is only available in certain countries.
