Swatch Launches The BIG BOLD IRONY
Swatch announces the arrival of the new BIG BOLD IRONY model, which comes with two novelties, the first and most obvious is the debut of the BIG BOLD model in steel and the second is for the first time a combination of BIOCERAMIC and stainless steel materials.
The new Swatches thus wear the usual robust 47mm diameter case that characterizes the BIG BOLD collection since 2019, which is now presented in stainless steel and comes with a sandblasted finish, crown at 2 o’clock, acrylic glass and solid case back with the usual compartment that allows access to the battery that powers its internal Quartz movement. It should also be noted that the new Swatch have a total weight of 108gr.
The skeletonised dials in BIOCERAMIC come in five different colours that give life to each of the variants, such as DARK IRONY in black, BLUE DAZE in blue, RED JUICY in red, MINT TRIM in turquoise and BOLDEN YELLOW in yellow.
On the dial, we can also find a black chapter ring with Arabic numerals, applied silver hour markers and hour and minute hands all filled with luminescent material, a central seconds hand in the same tone as the dial and the usual lettering of the brand painted in white on the glass.
The watches are attached to a textured rubber strap with double compression in BIOCERAMIC matching the colour of the dial bordered in black and with steel hardware.
As of today, July 6, 2023, the five models presented will be available in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for a unit price of €190, and on September 7, 2023, another five new BIG BOLD IRONY should hit stores that we unveil in the image below.
