Squale Teams Up With Seconde/Seconde/ To Present The New 1581 Watch Your Hand
Squale join with Seconde/Seconde/ to bring a limited edition of its iconic 1521 dive watch.
The new steel watch stands out for its hour hand that has a shark bite mark in coordination with the historic shark silhouette that is now positioned at 4:30 towards the hand. Designed by the humor of Seconde/Seconde/ creative, Romanic André.
The new dive watch arrives in the traditional 1521 stainless steel case that gained fame thanks to its military specifications, which has a 42mm diameter and mainly polished finish, unidirectional bezel with black aluminum insert and 60-minute scale, flat sapphire crystal, screw-down crown at 4 o’clock, screwed solid case back and 500m waterproof.
The matte black dial is designed with horizontal haircross, wide baton-shaped hour markers, which like the hands are filled with luminescent material. In addition to the hour hand with the shark bite mark, we can also find an orange minute hand and a lollipop center seconds hand. Closing the dial, a white minute track matches the brand’s lettering at 12 o’clock and two lines of text at 6 o’clock with ’50 ATMOS’ referring to water resistance and ‘Professional’ for the collection line.
By default we can find the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement that appears here without a date window, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 38 hours of power reserve.
In total, 100 pieces will be made available, attached to a mesh steel bracelet equipped with a folding clasp, which can be purchased for €1,052 (excluding taxes).
