Spinnaker Returns With The Fleuss Automatic Seconde/Seconde/ 2025 Edition
Spinnaker and Parisian watch artist Romaric André — known as seconde/seconde/ — continue their creative partnership with a new limited-edition series. The Spinnaker Fleuss Automatic Seconde/Seconde/ 2025 Edition brings back the brand’s signature blend of diving functionality and playful design, now available in two distinct versions: the Phantom Steel (40mm) and Phantom White (43mm).

Two Sizes, Same Spirit
For the first time in this collaboration, Spinnaker offers two case sizes to suit different wrists. The Phantom Steel measures 40 mm in diameter, 47 mm lug-to-lug, and 12.50 mm thick, while the Phantom White expands to 43 mm, 51 mm lug-to-lug, and 13.50 mm thick. Both models feature stainless steel construction, sapphire crystals on both sides, a screw-down crown, and unidirectional bezel. Water resistance is rated at 150 meters, maintaining the Fleuss line’s diving credentials.

Distinctive “Phantom” Design
Each version showcases a unique spectral gray dial, designed to glow to life in low light. The indexes and hands are fully luminescent, accompanied by a new sunray-brushed wavy bezel that enhances the dial’s ghostly aesthetic. A standout detail across both models is the ghost-inspired motif — from the subtle glow-in-the-dark elements to the double oval-shaped date windows and luminous date discs.

The Phantom Steel is limited to 1,050 pieces and is priced at USD 525, while the Phantom White will be produced in 1,150 pieces at USD 475. Despite the larger case, the Phantom White comes in slightly lower in price, partly due to the movement choice.
Reliable Japanese Movements
Inside, each watch is powered by a robust automatic caliber from Japan. The Phantom Steel houses the Miyota 9015, offering a smooth 28,800 vph frequency and a 42-hour power reserve. The larger Phantom White is fitted with the Seiko NH35, operating at 21,600 vph with a similar power reserve. Both movements are visible through an exhibition caseback, partially covered by a custom rotor shaped like a ghost — complete with black-lumed “eyes” that continue the watch’s haunting visual theme.

Straps and Details
Spinnaker includes two options with each watch: an upgraded stainless steel beads-of-rice bracelet for a refined look and a white glow-in-the-dark nylon strap for added versatility. Every caseback is engraved with its individual number, along with “2025 Edition” and “Batch No.1.”

A second batch, marked “Batch No.2,” will follow, also individually numbered. The first run begins shipping on October 24th, following the official launch at 06:30 CEST on October 17th, exclusively through the Spinnaker Watches website.
