Sleeker And Sharper: The New Cayenne Coupe Electric
Porsche continues to push forward with its electrification strategy, introducing the Cayenne Coupe Electric as a more design-focused variant of its latest all-electric SUV. While it shares its core architecture with the standard model, this version emphasizes a sportier silhouette and enhanced aerodynamics without sacrificing performance or usability.
Performance at the Highest Level
The Cayenne Coupe Electric delivers exceptional performance across its lineup, powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The entry-level version produces 408 horsepower, rising to 442 hp with overboost, while the Cayenne S steps things up to 544 hp and up to 666 hp with overboost. At the top of the range, the Turbo model reaches 857 hp, or an astonishing 1,156 hp with overboost, making it the most powerful production Porsche ever built. Acceleration is equally impressive, with the flagship variant capable of reaching 100 km/h in around 2.5 seconds.

An advanced 800-volt architecture enables ultra-fast charging at speeds of up to 400 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 16 minutes. The 113 kWh battery works in conjunction with a system that can decouple the front motor when full power isn’t needed, improving overall efficiency. Supporting this performance is a highly sophisticated chassis setup, including adaptive air suspension, Porsche Active Ride, and rear-axle steering.
Coupe Design with Aerodynamic Focus
Visually, the Coupe stands apart with a more dynamic profile. From the front, it closely resembles the standard Cayenne Electric, but from the A-pillar rearward, the differences become clear. A more steeply raked windshield and a sloping roofline flow into a shorter, sculpted rear, giving the SUV a more athletic stance.

These design elements are not purely aesthetic. Aerodynamic efficiency is significantly improved, with a drag coefficient of 0.23. Features such as an adaptive rear spoiler and active aerodynamic elements, particularly on the Turbo model, enhance airflow, while the slightly lower ride height contributes to a more planted look and feel.
A High-Tech, Driver-Focused Interior
Inside, the Cayenne Coupe Electric combines digital innovation with usability. A curved digital instrument cluster sits alongside a large central display, with an optional passenger screen adding further functionality. The augmented reality head-up display projects key information directly onto the road ahead, improving driver awareness.

Porsche avoids an over-reliance on touch controls by maintaining a balance between physical buttons and digital interfaces, resulting in a more intuitive driving experience. Personalization is also a strong focus, with configurable displays and integrated apps, while features like the electrochromic panoramic roof add a premium touch.
Everyday Practicality
Despite its coupe-like proportions, the Cayenne Coupe Electric remains practical. It comfortably accommodates four occupants and offers solid cargo space, complemented by a front trunk for additional storage.

Availability
The model is expected to debut at the Beijing Auto Show, with first deliveries planned for summer 2026. Pricing is likely to start at around € 110,000, positioning it within the premium segment of high-performance electric SUVs.
With this new model, Porsche successfully blends design, performance, and innovation, reinforcing its position at the forefront of the electric era.
