Sinn’s Revamped Navigation Chronograph: The Series 903
Sinn brings back the Navigation Chronograph in the Series 903, which now arrives redesigned and with three models including a limited edition.
The new chronographs arrive in a polished stainless steel case, tri-compax layout, a slide rule that allows you to calculate times, distances and fuel consumption, 200m water resistance and automatic movement.
So on the outside, we find a round steel case with dimensions of 41mm in diameter and 14.50mm in thickness that comes with a polished satin finish, rotating bezel with logarithmic scale and slide rule functions, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock flanked by two pump-pushers, screwed open case back and the aforementioned 200m of waterproofing.
The dial features a sunburst finish and on it, we can find an off-white slide rule with different scales, three silver recessed registers at 3-6-9 o’clock with a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour register and a running seconds, a date window at 4:30, applied hybrid ceramic luminescent indexes that include the twelve Arabic numeral and pencil hands.
As for the different variants, there are two additions to the permanent collection and they are the 903 St II with a black dial and the 903 St B E II with a deep blue dial and ivory coating luminescent, and the limited edition of 500 pieces 903 St HB with a light blue dial and no date window.
Inside, it runs the LJP L110 automatic movement with a column wheel and 26 jewels, which operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 60 hours of power reserve.
The new Sinn 903 Series can be attached to a 5-link steel bracelet or a variety of leather or rubber straps, with prices ranging from €3,550 for the bracelet option to €3,250 for the strap for both models of the permanent collection, while the limited edition whose set beyond the steel bracelet includes an extra brown leather strap is priced at €3,650.
