Sinn Strengthens Its Tool Watch Collection With Four New Releases
Ahead of its first appearance at Watches and Wonders, Sinn Spezialuhren has introduced four new watches that once again showcase the German brand’s engineering-led approach to watchmaking. The new releases include the Sinn 308 Hunting Watch, the more compact 544 and 544 RS, and the limited-edition 936 S chronograph.
Together, these new references highlight different aspects of Sinn’s identity, from specialized tool-watch functionality to everyday versatility and professional timing performance.
Sinn 308 Hunting Watch: A specialized tool with a unique moonlight display
The most distinctive watch among the new releases is undoubtedly the Sinn 308 Hunting Watch, a model designed with a highly specific practical function.
Its standout feature is the moonlight display positioned at 6 o’clock, a complication developed to indicate the amount of natural moonlight available during nighttime outdoor activities. While visually reminiscent of a traditional moonphase, this display serves a more functional purpose by helping assess visibility conditions in low-light environments.

The watch is housed in a 40 mm stainless steel case with a 12 mm thickness, dimensions that strike a balance between wrist presence and wearability. As expected from Sinn, robustness remains a priority, with the model offering 200 meters of water resistance.
Inside, the watch is powered by the Sellita SW382-1 automatic movement. Sinn also equips the 308 with its proprietary Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, designed to reduce moisture inside the case and prevent fogging when exposed to varying temperatures and environmental conditions.
Visually, the watch stands out thanks to its dark green dial, a color choice that reinforces its outdoor-oriented character. The use of hybrid ceramic luminous indexes and display elements ensures excellent nighttime legibility, while the central pointer date display adds another practical, instrument-style detail.
The Sinn 308 Hunting Watch is priced at € 2,920 on a bracelet.

Calibre Sellita SW382-1, automatic movement, hour, minutes, seconds, date pointer, moonlight display, 28,800 Vph, 25 jewels. Price: € 2,920 (on a steel bracelet).
Sinn 544 and 544 RS: Compact daily-wear tool watches
Moving to the more versatile side of the collection, the new Sinn 544 and 544 RS introduce a more compact format while staying true to the brand’s signature functional aesthetic.

Both models feature a 38.50 mm bead-blasted stainless steel case with a slim 10 mm profile, making them particularly suitable for everyday wear. The crown at 4 o’clock improves comfort on the wrist and remains one of the thoughtful ergonomic touches often seen in Sinn’s designs.
Despite their more wearable proportions, both references retain strong sports-watch credentials with 200 meters of water resistance.
A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the display caseback offers a view of the movement inside. Powering both models is the dependable Sellita SW200-2 automatic caliber, which delivers a minimum power reserve of 60 hours.

Legibility is a key focus, with applied hybrid ceramic luminous indexes designed to provide strong visibility in low-light conditions. The visual difference between the two references is subtle but effective: the standard 544 uses a white seconds hand, while the 544 RS features a red seconds hand, giving it a slightly more dynamic appearance.
Pricing is set at € 1,600 on strap and € 1,740 on bracelet.

Sinn 936 S: Limited-edition chronograph focused on functionality
Completing the lineup is the new Sinn 936 S, a limited-edition chronograph restricted to 100 pieces.
The watch is powered by the SZ05 movement, Sinn’s chronograph caliber based on the trusted Valjoux 7750 platform. One of its most practical features is the 60-minute chronograph counter, replacing the more traditional 30-minute register and making elapsed time significantly easier to read at a glance.

The dial adopts a Bi-compax configuration, with the chronograph minutes displayed at 3 o’clock and running seconds at 9 o’clock. A matte black dial finish, combined with luminous hands and markers, ensures excellent readability, while the concentric texture on the sub-dials adds subtle depth.
The case measures 43 mm and benefits from Sinn’s black hard coating over a Tegimented steel base, providing enhanced scratch resistance. Technical specifications also include 100 meters of water resistance and protection against magnetic fields up to 1,000 gauss, underscoring its tool-watch credentials.

The limited-edition Sinn 936 S is priced at € 4,350.
