Singer Introduces Bronze And Steel Variants In Latest 1969 Collection

Singer brings four additions to the Reimagined 1969 collection, with two new Timers and two other Chronos that come with new dial colours and a new material – bronze, which is an absolute debut.

The variants that arrive with the new bronze case feature a matte green dial attached to a khaki fabric strap with velcro closure, while the new steel variants come with a grey sunray dial and a tapering steel bracelet with H-links and folding clasp.

Inspired by the design of Zeitgeist 1969, the new timepieces follow the lineage of the collection with dimensions of 40mm in diameter by 13.80mm in thickness with a brushed finish on the surfaces and polished on the bevels, crown and pushers, sapphire crystal on both sides and 100m of tightness.

The Timer version features two semi-skeletal sword hands, applied gilt indexes and a chronograph centre seconds hand thanks to its flyback device that allows 60-second timing.

The Chrono version comes with three orange centre hands used for the chronograph function, while the time is provided by two discs with openings near 6 o’clock that reveal the hours and minutes. Printed 60-minute/second scale and a tachymeter inner bezel.

Inside we find the Caliber 6363 hand-wound movement in the Timer version and the Caliber 6365 automatic movement with column wheel and patented clutch on the Chrono, which operate 21,600 Vph and offer up to 3 days of power reserve.

Each of the new timepieces is limited to 25 units with prices ranging between CHF 31,500 (steel) and CHF 32,500 (bronze) in the Timer version, and CHF 53,500 (steel) and CHF 55,000 (bronze) in the Chrono one, values ​​to which taxes are added.
