Sherpa Expands Ultradive Line With Tuxedo And Atoll Variants
Sherpa Watches continues to build on its legacy of compressor dive watch engineering with the introduction of two new references in the Ultradive collection: the Ultradive Tuxedo and the Ultradive Atoll. These models pay homage to vintage design while delivering modern mechanical reliability and bold, distinctive aesthetics.

Authentic Compressor Case Construction
Both the Tuxedo and Atoll come in a polished stainless steel case measuring 40 mm in diameter and 13.50 mm in thickness. Staying true to the principles of the original compressor technology developed by EPSA (Ervin Piquerez S.A.), the design features a dual crown layout with Sherpa’s proprietary Monoflex compressor crowns. The crown located at 2 o’clock operates the internal bi-directional rotating timing ring, while the one at 4 o’clock is used for manual winding and time setting. Unlike traditional screw-down crowns, these components are engineered to seal more tightly as water pressure increases.

Completing the external construction is a robust EPSA-STOP bayonet caseback and a box-shaped sapphire crystal with chrome metallization along its lower edge. The Ultradive Tuxedo and Atoll are water-resistant to 200 meters and meet the ISO 6425 certification standards for professional dive watches.
Dial Options: Elegance and Vibrancy
The Ultradive Tuxedo is designed around a refined sunray-brushed galvanic silver dial that is paired with a matte black internal rotating bezel. The contrast enhances readability while also giving the watch a distinctive, formal appearance. Deep red numerals on the date display add a striking visual element. The hour markers are faceted baton-style indices, treated with Super-LumiNova X1 to ensure optimal legibility in low-light conditions. The hour and minute hands are diamond-polished, and the signature seconds hand features Sherpa’s unique double-lollipop design with luminous dots that offer a clear indication of whether the watch is functioning.

On the other hand, the Ultradive Atoll brings a brighter, more playful feel to the collection with its galvanic turquoise dial, which evokes the vibrant hues of tropical lagoons. It is complemented by a clean white rotating ring, lending the watch a light and summery character ideal for casual or seaside wear. Like the Tuxedo, the Atoll features applied indices and the same polished and luminous handset, maintaining aesthetic consistency across the Ultradive family.
In-House Modified Movement: Mantramatic MM01
Both models are powered by the Mantramatic MM01, an in-house modified automatic movement based on the trusted Sellita SW200-1. The movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. It includes hacking seconds for precise time setting, a crucial feature for divers and collectors alike.

A unique feature of this movement is the micro-laser engraving of Tibetan mantras on two of its wheels, a symbolic gesture that reflects Sherpa’s cultural and spiritual inspiration. The movement is finished with gilded plates and a rotor engraved with the Sherpa logo, reinforcing the brand’s attention to detail.
Finishing Touches and Accessories
Each watch is delivered with a tropic-style vulcanised rubber strap, secured with a brushed stainless steel pin buckle. Sherpa also includes a premium double watch travel roll made from fine Italian leather, offering added value for collectors or frequent travelers.
