Seiko Unveils Prospex Sea HBB003K & HBB004K Asia-Pacific Limited Editions
Seiko has unveiled two new Asia-Pacific Limited Editions for its Prospex collection, introducing the HBB003K and HBB004K. Inspired by the warm colours of coastal sunsets across the region, the new releases combine striking seasonal dials with the robust specifications of the brand’s popular “Samurai” dive watch platform.
Sunset-Inspired Dials
The defining feature of the two new references is their textured dial, designed to resemble sunlit sand along the shoreline.

The HBB003K comes dressed in a vivid yellow tone that reflects the brightness of the golden hour, while the HBB004K adopts a deep orange shade reminiscent of the final moments before sunset. Both dials are paired with a black unidirectional diving bezel that enhances contrast and reinforces their professional dive-watch character.
Visibility in low-light conditions is ensured by generously applied Lumibrite on the hands and applied hour markers, while the date display is discreetly positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, preserving the symmetry of the dial.
Proven Samurai Case
The watches are housed in Seiko’s well-known “Samurai” stainless steel case, measuring 41.70 mm in diameter, 12.30 mm thick and 49.50 mm lug-to-lug, dimensions that offer a balanced presence on a wide variety of wrists.

The case features the collection’s signature angular lines, a screw-down crown, solid screw-down case back and 200 metres of water resistance, making the watches suitable for recreational diving and everyday wear alike.
Protecting the dial is Seiko’s Hardlex crystal, a material the brand continues to use across many of its Prospex dive models thanks to its durability and impact resistance.
Reliable Automatic Movement
Inside both references beats the familiar Seiko Calibre 4R35, an automatic movement that has become one of the brand’s most reliable.

The 23-jewel movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz), offers manual winding and hacking seconds, and provides a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. Its widespread use across the Prospex range also makes servicing straightforward and parts readily available.
Stainless Steel Bracelet
Completing the watches is a three-link stainless steel bracelet with alternating brushed and polished surfaces.

It attaches through a 20 mm lug width and closes with a three-fold clasp featuring a push-button release, providing a secure fit while also allowing easy adjustment over a wetsuit when needed.
Availability and Price
The Seiko Prospex Sea HBB003K and HBB004K are Asia-Pacific Limited Editions, excluding Japan, with each reference limited to 2,500 individually numbered pieces.

Both watches are available for pre-order through Seiko Boutiques and the brand’s online store in participating Asia-Pacific markets, with a retail price of AUD 995.
