Seiko Presents The New Presage Cocktail Time Irori Moments SRPK50J

The Seiko SRPK50J is the latest watch to join the distinguished Presage Cocktail Time Collection. But this time the Japanese watch brand teams up with Lark, an Australian whiskey distillery to create a limited edition of 1000 pieces exclusive to the Australian market.

The new Seiko Presage Cocktail Time Irori Moments whose spirit drink gives it its name is inspired by Irori, the traditional Japanese sunken heart (fireplace), mixes Tasmanian Peated whiskey, wasabi and plum. The result is expressed in the beautiful dial in golden tones that bring the watch to life.

On the textured dial, all elements harmonize, featuring rose gold-toned applied hour markers in kite-shape, Dauphine faceted hands, brand’s lettering at noon and a framed date window at 3 o’clock. There is also a black minute track, which matches the tone of the inscriptions ‘Presage’ followed by ‘Automatic’ at 6 o’clock and the Arabic numerals on the date window at 3 o’clock whose white background is without a doubt the only drawback on this watch.

On the outside, the rose gold-toned steel case continues to wear the same wide case, 40.50 mm in diameter, 11.80 mm thick and 47 mm lug-to-lug distance, which for us is too big for such an elegant watch. Smooth bezel, domed hardlex crystal at the front, fluted crown designed with the brand’s ‘S’, open through case back and 50m water resistance.

Inside it receives the In-house automatic Caliber 4R35 movement that operates at low frequency can reach 21,600 Vph and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.

This exclusive and stunning watch arrives attached to a brown calf leather strap with a crocodile-like pattern with a folding clasp matching the case and with an advertised price of AUD 950.
