That seasonal mood sets the tone for Seiko’s Presage ‘Springtime’ Cocktail Time Limited Edition, a watch that draws visual inspiration from the Sakura Aviation cocktail created at Tokyo’s Star Bar.
The watch is housed in a 34 mm stainless steel case, a size that sits at the smaller end of the Presage range while remaining consistent with the Cocktail Time collection’s unisex character. Gold-tone accents appear on the crown and along the bracelet, introducing a subtle bicolour contrast that adds a more refined touch to the overall design.
Its defining feature is the dial. Finished in pink mother-of-pearl, it is the first time this material has been used within the Cocktail Time series. The dial displays a vertical gradient effect that shifts with the light, complemented by faceted hour markers and dauphine-style hands. A date window is positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, integrated discreetly into the layout.
Powering the watch is Seiko’s in-house Calibre 4R35 automatic movement. Beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, it offers approximately 40 hours of power reserve and includes both hacking seconds and manual winding functionality.
