Seiko Introduces First-Ever GMT Complications In Presage Cocktail Series
Another novelty brought by Seiko today is three new Presage Cocktail Series, which for the first time come with a GMT complication.
Like their peers, each one is inspired by a cocktail drink from Ginza’s Star Bar.
On the outside, the new watches once again feature a round polished stainless steel case measuring 40.50mm by 12.80mm, mineral Hardlex crystal, fluted crown, see-through case back and 50m water resistance.
The textured dials come with grooved sun rays, applied polished hour markers and Dauphine’s hands, a framed date window at 3 o’clock and an extra central GMT hand shaped like a cocktail glass that works in partnership with the printed 24-hour Arabic scale.
The SSK37 which comes with a light blue dial, a blue GMT hand and a 5-link steel bracelet is inspired by the Skyrising Cocktail, while the SSK39 which features a gradient brown dial with an extra yellow hand and a black leather strap is influenced by the Rusty Nail Cocktail and finally the SSK41 which features a gradient honey yellow dial with a golden pointer and attached to a brown leather strap is activated by the Acacia Cocktail.
They all share the Caliber 4R34 automatic movement inside, which operates at a frequency of 3 Hz and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.
The new Seiko Presage Cocktail GMT arrives in July with a price of €600.
