Seiko Expands Dive Collection With New Marinemaster And Samurai Models
Seiko’s additions of the day could not miss the much-loved diving watches, introducing two new Marinemasters and three new Samurais that are now more compact and renewed.
Prospex Marinemaster
Reintroduced last year in three variants, the Marinemaster now expands its offer with two new models, the SJE117 in green and grey and the SJE119 in blue.
Following the path started in 2023, the new watches arrive in a reduced stainless steel case measuring 39.50mm wide, 12.30mm high and 46.20mm lug-to-lug distance that comes with a Super Hard coating, unidirectional bezel, sapphire crystal, fluted crown, screwed open case back and 200m water resistance.
On the dial, a horizontal stripe pattern, bold applied hour markers, hands filled with LumiBrite, and a small date window at 4:30.
At its heart lies the 26-jewel Caliber 6L35 automatic movement that runs at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.
The new Marinemaster comes attached to a 5-link steel bracelet with a triple folding clasp with a price tag of €3,400.

The new Samurai arrives in three variants: the SRPL11 in burgundy, the SRPL13 in black and the SRPL15 in a stealthy version with a black coat.
On the outside, the case now comes with less aggressive angles, and with new dimensions of 41.70mm x 12.30 mm x 49.50 mm and a mainly brushed finish, Hardlex crystal, knurled crown flanked by guards, screwed solid case back and 200m of water resistance.
On the dial, the polished indexes are also smaller and now pencil-shaped, which, like the hands, are filled with white Lumibrite which in the stealth version is replaced by a beige tone and a date window that is now positioned at 4:30 and without a magnifying glass.
The new Samurais come equipped with the Caliber 4R35 automatic movement that operates at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 41 hours of power reserve.
The new dive watches come attached to a 3-row steel bracelet with a folding clasp, except the stealth version is attached to a black rubber strap with steel hardware matching the case, with the first costing €650 and the second €600.
