Seiko Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph: New Crystal Green And Crystal Pink Editions
Seiko expands its recently updated Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph collection with two new limited-edition models featuring distinctive Crystal Green and Crystal Pink dials. Inspired by the appearance of quartz crystals, the latest additions combine vibrant summer-ready aesthetics with the advanced GPS Solar technology that has become a hallmark of the Astron lineup.
Limited to 1,200 pieces each, both references arrive following the launch of the redesigned Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronographs created to mark Seiko’s 145th anniversary.
Refined Titanium Case Design
The new Astron models feature the latest generation case architecture introduced earlier this year. Crafted from lightweight titanium and protected by a super-hard coating, the case measures 43.40 mm in diameter, 50 mm lug-to-lug, and 12.40 mm in thickness.

A newly developed two-piece octagonal bezel gives the watch a more contemporary appearance. The combination of brushed upper surfaces and polished faceted edges creates an attractive contrast, while enhancing the overall depth and presence of the design.
The integrated titanium bracelet complements the case construction and contributes to the watch’s lightweight wearing experience.
Crystal-Inspired Dials
The highlight of these new editions is the introduction of specially developed textured dials. Moving away from the geometric patterns seen on previous models, Seiko has created a pressed motif inspired by the natural facets and reflections of quartz crystal.

The Crystal Green version features a vibrant green dial that captures the appearance of green quartz, while the Crystal Pink model showcases a softer pink tone inspired by rose-colored crystal formations. The textured surfaces interact with light to create varying reflections throughout the day, adding visual depth to the dial.
Applied hour markers and hands feature generous LumiBrite treatment for improved visibility in low-light conditions, while the angled minute track and UTC scale maintain the technical character expected from the Astron collection.
New Caliber 5X63
Powering both models is Seiko’s in-house Caliber 5X63 GPS Solar movement. The updated movement enables a cleaner and more balanced dial layout through a revised sub-dial arrangement positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock.

The GPS Solar technology allows the watch to connect to the GPS network and automatically adjust to the correct time zone anywhere in the world. The solar-powered movement eliminates the need for regular battery changes by converting light into energy.
In addition to displaying the local time, the movement offers a dual-time function, making it particularly useful for frequent travelers. The chronograph complication further enhances the functionality of the watch.
Additional Strap Included
Each limited edition is delivered with both a titanium bracelet and an additional black silicone strap. Thanks to Seiko’s quick-release system, owners can switch between the two options without the use of tools, allowing the watch to adapt easily to different occasions and activities.

The watches are presented in a special nylon storage case, while the screw-down case back features a “Limited Edition” engraving alongside the individual serial number.
