Seiko 5 Sports Winter Sports SRPM11 & SRPM13: TSG-Exclusive Limited Editions

Seiko has expanded its Seiko 5 Sports collection with two Winter Sports–themed limited editions created in collaboration with Thong Sia Group (TSG), Seiko’s long-standing retail partner across Singapore, Hong Kong, and several other Asian markets. The two references, SRPM11 and SRPM13, are exclusive to TSG territories and produced in limited quantities.

Both models are based on the well-known Seiko 5 Sports “5KX” architecture and introduce unconventional colour palettes inspired by winter sports equipment, bringing a seasonal aesthetic to a platform traditionally associated with dive-style watches.

Case and Construction

The SRPM11 and SRPM13 share the same stainless-steel case measuring 42.50 mm in diameter. The design follows the established 5KX formula, featuring pronounced lugs, integrated crown guards, and a screw-down exhibition case back that allows a view of the automatic movement.

Protecting the dial is a slightly domed Hardlex crystal, Seiko’s proprietary hardened mineral glass developed for improved resistance to impacts and everyday wear. The crystal is framed by a bidirectional rotating bezel that is colour-matched to each dial variant and fitted with a minute scale, reinforcing the watches’ sporty character.

Water resistance is rated at 100 metres makes them suitable for daily wear and outdoor activities, including winter sports.

Dial and Aesthetics

The dials feature a grid-pattern texture that adds visual depth while maintaining clarity and legibility. The SRPM11 is executed in a deep purple tone applied to both the dial and bezel insert, while the SRPM13 adopts a warm brown colourway that offers a more understated but equally distinctive appearance.

Both versions are fitted with applied hour markers filled with Lumibrite, Seiko’s proprietary luminous material, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. The handset follows the familiar Seiko 5 Sports layout, with broad, legible hands designed for quick time reading. A day-date display is positioned at 3 o’clock, continuing a long-standing hallmark of the Seiko 5 line.

Bracelet and Wearability

Each watch is delivered on a three-link stainless-steel bracelet designed to integrate seamlessly with the case. The bracelet is equipped with solid end links and secured by a fold-over clasp featuring a push-button release and additional safety lock, helping ensure the watch remains firmly on the wrist during active use. The case retains drilled lugs, allowing for easy strap changes using traditional spring bar tools.

Movement

Powering both the SRPM11 and SRPM13 is Seiko’s In-house calibre 4R36 automatic movement. The movement winds automatically via the oscillating rotor, can also be manually wound via the crown, and includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of approximately 41 hours.

Availability

The Seiko 5 Sports Winter Sports SRPM11 and SRPM13 are each limited to 1,000 pieces and are available exclusively through Thong Sia Group–authorized retailers in select Asian markets. Pricing is set at SGD 473.10 per watch, excluding taxes, positioning both models firmly within the accessible segment of the Seiko 5 Sports collection while offering the appeal of a numbered limited edition.
