Seiko 5 Sports SNXS Collection Grows With Fresh Dial Colors

Seiko continues to build on the success of its SNXS revival, first reintroduced in April 2024 within the Seiko 5 Sports collection under the EDC (Everyday Carry) concept. The collection now welcomes three new references: SRPL55K1 with a navy blue dial, SRPL57K1 with a green dial, and SRPL59K1 with a gold-colored dial.

Refined Dials With Sunray Finishes

The major evolution in these new references comes on the dial. Unlike the earlier matte or champagne-finished designs, the latest models feature sunray-brushed textures that add depth and light play. Gilt accents are now paired with white Lumibrite, ensuring sharper contrast and improved legibility. The “Automatic” inscription and the Seiko 5 Sports logo also receive a gold-toned update, reinforcing the vintage-inspired look.

Another refinement is the seconds hand, which now matches the tone of the hour and minute hands rather than standing out in orange. The rehaut with the minute track follows the dial’s main color instead of coming in white, while the framed day-date window at 3 o’clock now adopts a clean white background, further enhancing the overall balance of the design.

Case, Bracelet, and Movement

Aside from the fresh dials, the core design remains faithful to the SNXS DNA. Each watch comes in a 37.40 mm Tonneau-shaped stainless steel case, with a brushed finish, polished smooth bezel, Hardlex curved crystal, and a recessed crown at 4 o’clock. The see-through case back offers a view of the automatic Caliber 4R36 movement, which beats at 21,600 vph, features hacking seconds, and provides up to 41 hours of power reserve.

The watches are completed by a 3-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, delivering the same everyday versatility that has defined the Seiko 5 Sports line.

Just like a year ago, the three new Seiko 5 Sports SNXS arrive with the same affordable price of GBP 340.
