Primadonna, a new culinary concept in the Algarve by the PBH group, combines classic Italian cuisine with innovative creations by Michelin-starred chef Vittorio Colleoni. Located in the Salgados region near Albufeira and VidaMar Hotels & Resorts Algarve, the restaurant offers an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere with Mediterranean touches and panoramic views of the sea and Praia dos Salgados dunes.
Primadonna seats 90 guests, featuring an abundance of natural light and a spacious outdoor terrace. Open exclusively for dinner, the restaurant presents four exclusive menus ranging from pasta and antipasti to pizzas and desserts, complemented by the finest Italian wines. A Bruschetta Bar offers variations of this Italian speciality and famous cocktails.
The restaurant emphasizes authenticity, using fresh, certified Italian ingredients (DOP & DOC), slow-fermentation doughs, wood-fired pizzas, and homemade desserts. Guests can watch the meticulous preparation of dishes in the open kitchen.
Chef Colleoni, known for his traditional yet innovative Italian cuisine, highlights dishes like Risotto Verde Mare and Vittore Carpaccio, which pay tribute to the Algarve and Northern Italy. Other notable dishes include Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Gnocchi Giro d’Italia, and Pizza Calzone. The menu also features Plin di ossobuco, Tortelloni all pesto and calamari, and Fettuccine con gamberi. For main courses, options include Costoletta di Vitello alla Milanese, Agnello alla Romana, and Merluzzo “Mare Nostrum.” Desserts feature the Cannolo Siciliano with pistachio filling.
Primadonna will also host summer sunset parties with guest DJs and popular Italian cocktails. The restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday, from 7 pm to 10 pm, with a minimum admission age of 10 years. Access is through the Praia dos Salgados parking area, with direct entry to VidaMar Hotels & Resorts Algarve.
