Salsa Jeans x Favorite People: Portuguese Creativity Meets Denim
What happens when the world of Portuguese denim meets a brand known for colour, prints and playful design? Small Town People – City Calling, the new collaboration between Salsa Jeans and Favorite People, offers an answer by bringing two distinctly Portuguese identities together.

At the centre of the collection is the idea of taking something rooted in where we come from and giving it a new urban attitude. Overalls provide the starting point, joined by jeans, shirts, bomber jackets and other denim pieces that mix Salsa Jeans’ expertise in fit, comfort and construction with Favorite People’s more expressive visual language.
The result feels nostalgic without looking backwards. Colours, prints and unexpected details give familiar denim silhouettes a new personality, while the collection maintains the versatility that makes jeans such an enduring part of everyday wardrobes.

The collaboration is also an important step for Favorite People, marking the brand’s first venture into menswear. The selection includes jeans, a denim jacket and overalls, while the women’s collection expands into accessories such as scarves, bags, toiletry bags and laptop cases.
For Salsa Jeans, the project represents the third edition of its Proudtuguese Series, an initiative celebrating Portuguese creative talent. Previous collaborations included architect Siza Vieira in 2023 and artist AKACORLEONE in 2026.

Rather than simply placing two logos on the same garments, Small Town People – City Calling works because the differences between the brands become part of the concept. Salsa Jeans provides the denim foundation; Favorite People brings the colour and irreverence. Somewhere between the two, a distinctly contemporary Portuguese collection emerges.
The collection is now available through both brands’ websites, as well as selected stores and pop-ups in Portugal and Spain.
