Salão Motorclássico 2025: Lisbon’s Ultimate Classic Car Gathering
The Salão Motorclássico has officially returned, bringing one of Portugal’s largest classic and sports car events to the Cordoaria Nacional in Lisbon. Organized by the Museu do Caramulo, this three-day event, running from February 21-23, gathers over a hundred exhibitors from around the world, offering everything from classic cars and motorcycles to rare collectibles.
This year’s highlights include 70 years of the FIAT 600 and Citroën DS, as well as a tribute to Alpine’s seven-decade legacy. A special exhibition marks 80 years since the end of World War II, showcasing historically significant vehicles. Meanwhile, Portugal’s first off-road vehicle, the Portaro, celebrates its 50th anniversary with a talk from its creator, Hipólito Pires.
Adding a modern twist, the event features the world premiere of the Adamastor Furia, Portugal’s first homegrown supercar. Motorsport fans will also appreciate the 40th anniversary of Ayrton Senna’s first F1 win, with the legendary Van Diemen RF81 on display.
The event offers talks with industry experts, book launches, and vintage car gatherings, all set in a vibrant atmosphere. A dedicated classic car parking area and a free shuttle service ensure easy access for all visitors.
