Royal Punctuality by SWATCH
Last February 6th, the Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II’s reign in the United Kingdom was celebrated, and Swatch did not want to be left out of this historic milestone, launching the HOW MAJESTIC watch.
The new watch reflects Queen Elizabeth II’s unique and adaptable style throughout her reign, namely her love for animals, especially corgi dogs, and her wardrobe, defined by a constant pattern, made up of black bags and shoes, the family heirloom brooches and their colourful outfits and hats matched for every occasion.
As is the tradition of the Swiss watch brand Swatch, it marks the occasion with a fun watch, which stands out for its details. The highest point is offered by the calendar wheel that changes the colour of the Queen’s costume daily, some days it will be orange, others more pink, then purple, blue, etc…
On the white dial, the Queen appears next to one of her corgis’ dogs, a crown above the Swatch logo at 9 o’clock, all in gold to match the watch’s hands, the 70 points on the inner ring to mark 70 years of reign and the clock crown.
On the outside, the case and strap in white mate with a metallic effect, providing a “real” shine to the strap.
The watch is offered in special packaging, “protected” by the dreaded Queen’s Guard, which hides a new and exclusive surprise – a shimmering silver paper crown.
The watch is already on sale in the brand’s official boutiques and in its online store, at the recommended price of €95.
