Rolex Perpetual 1908 Now Arrives In Platinum And With A Guilloché Dial
Last year we saw the debut of the Rolex Perpetual 1908 in gold with a sunburst dial in a few different shades, it now arrives in platinum and with a textured dial.
The new variant of the Perpetual 1908 now wears a 950 Platinum case with the same dimensions of 39mm in diameter by 9.50mm in thickness with a fully polished finish, coin-edge bezel, sapphire crystal on the front and back, fluted crown with the signature of the brand and the same 50m of watertightness as before.
But alongside the new tone of the case also stands a new beautiful ice blue dial that comes with a guilloché background that raises the bar. It once again comes with the traditional layout of applied Arabic numerals at 3-9-12 o’clock, small seconds with a sunburst finish at 6 o’clock, faceted hour markers, Breguet hour and pencil minute hands, and lastly, a railway minute track at the edges.
Inside, it is equipped with the Manufacture Caliber 7140 automatic movement, which is a Superlative Chronometer, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 66 hours of power reserve. It can be seen working through the open rear case, decorated with Côtes de Genève on the bridges and a skeletonized gold rotor.
The new Rolex Perpetual 1908 comes attached to a brown Alligator leather strap with green Rolex lining and a platinum folding clasp with a price tag of approximately €31,500.
