Rolex Introduces Five New Daytona and New Caliber 4131
This year Rolex celebrates the 60th Anniversary of its iconic Daytona model and to mark the date the brand has decided to launch five new references together with the new Caliber 4131.
Among the new references, one is presented in Oyster steel, another in Rolesor gold, another in 18k yellow gold, one in Everose gold and finally one in platinum.
All new references share the same 40mm diameter by 11.9mm thick case, screw-down crown, screw-down pushers and 100m of water resistance. Also, all come attached to an oyster bracelet matching the case with the exception of the yellow gold version which comes before with a black oyster flex strap.
But it is the platinum version that stands out from the others and which we paid more attention to, this version, in addition to the case in a precious material, features a light blue sunbrush dial, counters with brown rings and whose tone also extends to the new Cerachrom bezel, which now has a small edge on the metal of the case.
Inside operates the new automatic movement that is Superlative Chronometer Certified, comes with Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex Shock absorbers, offering up to 72 hours of power reserve, which can be observed through the open back case, for the first time in a sports Rolex.
