Rolex Deepsea Now Arrives In Yellow Gold And Without “Sea-Dweller” On The Dial

Among the novelties presented by Rolex at Watches And Wonders, there is one whose robust presence does not go unnoticed, we are talking about the new Deepsea which now arrives in yellow gold and with a blue dial.

And starting with the biggest curiosity that will certainly generate some buzz among the fiercest community is that for the first time, the imposing diving watch comes without the previous name “Sea-Dweller” on the dial, saying goodbye to that mention once and for all.

The pretentious dive watch features a case measuring 44mm in diameter, 17.70mm thick and 51.80mm lug-to-lug distance, sapphire glass, unidirectional Cerachrom bezel in the same blue hue as the dial, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and protected by guards, and on the opposite side we find a Helium Escape Valve, screwed RLX Titanium case back and an astonishing 3,990m of waterproofing.

The dial is painted royal blue and has applied hour markers which, together with the three asymmetrical centre hands, are all filled with Chromalight lume, a small date window next to the crown and the words “Original Gas Escape Valve” on the flange between the 10 and 2 o’clock.

Inside it runs Caliber 3235, which is chronometer-certified, reaching 28,800 Vph and offering up to 70 hours of power reserve.

The dive watch comes attached to a solid yellow gold Oyster bracelet just like the case with the Glidelock clasp leaving behind the previous Fliplock Dive Extension system, and hits the market with a price of €54,200.
