Roger Dubuis Excalibur Monobalancier Now In Full Titanium
Roger Dubuis has just launched a new version of his iconic model Excalibur Monobalancier (MB) but this time in a lightweight version benefiting from the new case and bracelet made full of Grade 5 Titanium.
The watch is dressed in a 42mm diameter titanium case, with a bezel, crown and case back in the same material as the case. The bracelet that appears as a continuation of the case is also made of titanium, featuring shortened connection links that allow better adherence to the wrist. Both the case and the bracelet come with the “premium” matte metallic finish that contrasts with the polished finish of the bracelet bevels.
The grey skeletonized dial features a minute chapter ring with hour markers and logos filled with Super-Luminova, which also fills the two skeletonized white gold hands in the centre.
Inside, is powered by the automatic movement Caliber RD720SQ micro-rotor, which comes with a silicon escapement wheel in its 178 parts, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 72 hours of power reserve.
The watch becomes part of the regular Excalibur collection and is already on sale in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for USD 66,500 plus tax.
