Revamped Zenith Chronomaster Revival: Now With A Titanium Ladder Bracelet
Zenith has exciting news for fans of the Chronomaster Revival Shadow and Safari models. These watches, which were previously available only with a black Cordura strap, now offer an option to come with a titanium ladder bracelet. This ladder bracelet, originally designed in 1969 by Gay Frères, is distinctive for its 3-link structure with no central links except for thin interconnecting ones. The titanium bracelet has a micro-blasted finish that complements the watch case and the folding clasp, all carrying Zenith’s signature look.
Apart from the new bracelet option, the watches remain unchanged in design and specifications. They feature a case that is 37mm wide and 12.60mm high, with angular lugs, a straight bridge, and a domed sapphire crystal. The crown is positioned at 3 o’clock, flanked by two pushers, and the watch has an open case back with 50 meters of water resistance.
The Zenith Chronomaster Revival Shadow sports an anthracite dial with grey registers, while the Safari variant has a khaki-green dial with black registers. Both watches have a Tri-compax layout, with a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour register, and running seconds placed at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, respectively. Additional features include a tachymeter bezel, applied hour markers, and three central hands filled with Super-LumiNova—white for the Shadow and beige for the Safari.
Powering these watches is the El Primero 4061 high-speed automatic movement, which runs at 36,000 vibrations per hour (Vph) and provides a power reserve of up to 50 hours. The movement is visible through the sapphire glass case back and features a skeletonized rotor shaped like Zenith’s iconic star.
These updated models with the new titanium ladder bracelet are available at Zenith’s official boutiques and authorized retailers, priced at USD 9,800. Additionally, owners of the existing models with Cordura straps can upgrade to the ladder bracelet if desired.
