Raymond Weil Unveils New 35mm Watches In Expanded Millesime Collection
Raymond Weil has expanded its Millesime collection, introducing five new watches in a reduced size of 35mm, catering to wearers with smaller wrists. The Millesime collection, known for its vintage-inspired dress watches with sector dials popularized in the 1920s and 30s, previously offered only 39.50mm models. The new, more compact 35mm versions include central seconds and moon phase models, adding a refined option to the lineup.
Crafted in stainless steel, the new watches boast a classic round case. Two references feature rose-gold PVD, maintaining a sleek 35mm diameter with thicknesses of 9.18mm for the central seconds and 9.98mm for the moon phase variant. The design showcases a brushed and polished finish, smooth bezel, sapphire crystal, and drilled lugs. Two models are embellished with 16 lab-grown diamonds, adding a touch of luxury, while all models are equipped with a fluted crown, an open back case, and a water resistance of 50 meters.
The dials are elegantly detailed, featuring a crosshair design on the central disc and Dauphine hands, both filled with Super-Luminova for enhanced legibility. The central seconds models include two peripheral rings with baton hour, minute, and second markers, while the moon phase models replace the baton markers with Arabic numerals, with the moon phase aperture positioned at 6 o’clock.
This new release includes three central seconds models, available with a silver dial, a Denim blue dial paired with diamond-set lugs, and a burgundy dial housed in a rose-gold PVD case. The moon phase models come in two variants: one with a Denim blue dial and diamond-set lugs, and another with a silver dial encased in rose-gold PVD.
Inside these timepieces, the automatic Sellita SW200 (central seconds) and Sellita SW280-1 (moon phase) movements ensure reliable performance, operating at 28,800 Vph and offering a power reserve of up to 38 hours. Each watch is paired with a leather strap that complements its respective dial and case color. Prices start at CHF 1,575 and rise to CHF 2,450, making these stylish timepieces a compelling addition to any collection.
