Porsche Design Unveils The New Chronograph 1 All Titanium
Porsche Design expands its iconic Chronograph 1 lineup with the introduction of the new Chronograph 1 All Titanium, a non-limited production model inspired by the brand’s historic full titanium edition first introduced in the mid-1970s.

While the original 1972 black-coated Chronograph 1 remains the most recognizable watch in Porsche Design’s history, this latest release pays tribute to another important chapter in the collection’s legacy by bringing back the lightweight titanium execution as a permanent part of the range.
Unlike last year’s limited edition reissue, this new version is not individually limited, although production will be capped at 1,000 pieces annually, maintaining an element of exclusivity.
Lightweight Titanium Construction
The new Chronograph 1 All Titanium is housed in a 40.80 mm titanium case with a thickness of 14.15 mm, dimensions that preserve the strong sporty presence of the original design while benefiting from the lightweight properties of the material.

Titanium significantly reduces the overall weight compared to stainless steel, enhancing daily wear comfort despite the watch’s robust proportions. The case and bracelet feature a glass bead-blasted finish, giving the watch a refined matte appearance that minimizes reflections and reinforces its technical instrument aesthetic. The watch also offers 100 meters of water resistance.
Signature High-Contrast Dial Design
Protected by a sapphire crystal, the dial retains the highly functional layout that has long defined the Chronograph 1 collection.
The black dial is paired with sharp white markers and hands, creating excellent contrast and legibility, while the red central chronograph seconds hand adds a subtle sporty accent.

A day-date display is positioned at 3 o’clock, preserving the model’s tool-watch practicality. This new version also introduces the modern Porsche Design logo, replacing the vintage branding used on previous heritage-inspired editions.
Another notable addition is the “Chronometer Certified” inscription on the dial, highlighting the movement’s official precision certification.
COSC-Certified Flyback Chronograph Movement
Powering the watch is the Porsche Design WERK 01.240, an automatic flyback chronograph movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz).
The movement delivers a 48-hour power reserve and is officially COSC chronometer-certified, ensuring high standards of accuracy.
One of the key upgrades over last year’s limited model is the introduction of an open sapphire caseback, offering a view of the movement.

Through the display back, the calibre reveals a distinctly modern finish, with black-coated bridges and plates, contrasted by polished steel and gold-tone mechanical elements. The openworked rotor, featuring the Porsche Design logo at its center, adds a contemporary technical touch.
The outer caseback ring is laser-engraved with key specifications, including the watch’s individual numbering and water-resistance details.
Titanium Bracelet with Modern Comfort Features
The watch is fitted with a fully integrated titanium bracelet that matches the case’s matte bead-blasted finish.
Porsche Design equips the bracelet with a quick-release system, allowing for easy strap changes, while the micro-adjustable folding clasp enhances on-wrist comfort and daily usability.

Price and Availability
The new Porsche Design Chronograph 1 All Titanium joins the permanent collection with annual production limited to 1,000 pieces per year.
Notably, Porsche Design has priced the new Chronograph 1 All Titanium at € 7,950, making it € 1,000 more affordable than last year’s limited-edition release, despite retaining the same lightweight titanium construction, COSC-certified flyback chronograph movement, and now adding an open caseback.
