Porsche 911 GT3 Celebrates 25 Years With Dual Model Launch
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Porsche 911 GT3, two new models are launching simultaneously: the track-focused 911 GT3 and a more understated version featuring the Touring package. Both versions are powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine that produces 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm of torque. This power, paired with advanced engineering, results in thrilling performance—0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with the PDK dual-clutch transmission option and a 311 km/h top speed.

Enhanced Design and Aerodynamics
The new 911 GT3 models come with a sharpened design and refined aerodynamics. The re-contoured front diffuser, redesigned spoiler lip, and rear wing, along with changes to the underbody, improve downforce and air flow. Matrix LED headlights with optional white accent rings further enhance the front-end design, creating a larger air inlet area.

For track use, the 911 GT3’s double-wishbone front axle is equipped with aerodynamically shaped trailing arms that improve brake cooling and downforce. Pitching, or “antidive,” has been reduced, stabilizing the car during high-speed braking. The models come with sports tyres as standard, with the option for track tyres for road use.
Touring Package – A More Subtle Approach
The 911 GT3 with Touring package offers a more understated design by replacing the fixed rear wing with an extendable spoiler. This package preserves the classic 911 profile and delivers a balanced aerodynamic performance. For the first time, Porsche offers a rear seat system for the Touring model, making it more versatile for everyday driving without sacrificing driving pleasure on winding roads. The high-quality leather interior of the Touring package creates a refined, sporty ambiance.

Lightweight Focused for Maximum Performance
Weight reduction is a key focus of the new 911 GT3. The model features a new lightweight aluminium wheel that reduces unsprung mass by over 1.5 kg, with magnesium wheels available as part of the Weissach or Leichtbau (lightweight) packages, cutting an additional nine kilograms. The new lightweight lithium-ion battery also contributes to a lower overall weight, with the 911 GT3 coming in at just 1,420 kg in its lightest configuration.

The engine has also been optimized for greater performance, with revised cylinder heads, sharper camshafts, and flow-optimized individual throttle valves. Both transmission options, the 7-speed PDK and 6-speed manual feature a final drive ratio that is 8% shorter than the previous model, improving acceleration and overall driving dynamics.
Exclusive Packages and Customization Options
Porsche is offering several exclusive packages for even more customization. The Weissach package, available for the first time on the GT3, includes carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) components, such as the roof, rear wing sideplates, and anti-roll bars, along with lightweight magnesium wheels. For the Touring model, the Leichtbau package offers similar lightweight enhancements, including CFRP parts and magnesium wheels. Additionally, Porsche is offering a no-cost Clubsport package for the GT3, designed for track use and featuring a steel roll cage, a 6-point harness for the driver, and a fire extinguisher.

Innovative Interior and Track-Ready Features
Inside, the 911 GT3 features a sports-oriented cockpit with a clear digital display. The optional “Track Screen” display mode reduces the digital readouts to essential data, such as tyre pressure and oil levels, while highlighting the optimal shift points for track driving. The new lightweight sports bucket seat, made of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP), provides support during intense driving, and its folding function allows access to the optional rear seat system in the Touring package.

The 911 GT3 Chronograph – A Timepiece for Owners
For those seeking a wristwatch as exclusive as their car, Porsche Design offers a 911 GT3 chronograph, available only to owners of the new models. This timepiece echoes the design and performance of the 911 GT3, featuring a lightweight titanium case, the COSC-certified Porsche Design WERK 01.200 movement with a flyback function, and a band made from original Porsche leather.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 and the 911 GT3 with Touring package will be available to order by the end of the year, offering fans of this iconic model the most customizable and track-ready version yet.
