Perrelet And IFL Watches Turn The Weekend GMT Into A Wearable Atlas
Swiss watchmaker Perrelet has partnered with IFL Watches to introduce the Weekend Atlas, a limited-edition interpretation of the Weekend GMT that celebrates travel through a hand-painted dial inspired by landscapes from around the world. Limited to just 50 pieces, the new release combines the practicality of a dual-time watch with the artistic craftsmanship for which IFL Watches has become known.

A Dial Inspired By Global Exploration
The highlight of the watch is undoubtedly its individually hand-painted dial. Based on the standard blue dial of the Perrelet Weekend GMT, each piece is transformed into a miniature work of art centred around the theme of world travel.

At the centre sits a stylised world map inspired by a compass rose, surrounded by a blue 24-hour chapter ring used to display a second time zone. Encircling this are four distinct scenes representing different regions of the globe: a tropical rainforest featuring a scarlet macaw, a palm-lined coastline, snow-covered Arctic mountains, and the iconic pyramids rising from a desert landscape. Every dial is painted by hand, making each watch slightly unique.
Despite the artistic presentation, legibility remains a priority. Applied hour markers and slender central hands provide a clean display of the local time, while the red-tipped GMT hand points to the 24-hour scale, allowing travellers to monitor home time at a glance. A discreet date window at 3 o’clock completes the display.
Slim Case And Integrated Bracelet
The artwork is housed in the familiar 39 mm stainless steel case of the Weekend GMT, measuring just 9.61 mm thick with a 47.30 mm lug-to-lug distance. Its elegant proportions make it suitable for everyday wear, while the 50-metre water resistance provides protection against daily exposure to water.

Completing the package is a seven-row stainless steel bracelet featuring alternating brushed and polished finishes, secured by a butterfly clasp with push-button release.
In-House Automatic GMT Movement
Inside beats the Perrelet P-401, the brand’s in-house automatic GMT calibre. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), incorporates 25 jewels, and delivers a 42-hour power reserve.

A sapphire crystal exhibition caseback allows owners to admire the movement while showcasing the mechanical credentials behind the artistic exterior.
