Panerai Launches Luminor Dieci Giorni GMT With Groundbreaking 10-Day Power Reserve
After the many novelties introduced by the Italian watchmaking brand, Panerai now presents the new Luminor Dieci Giorni GMT PAM01482, which, as the name suggests, combines the GMT complication and 10 days of power reserve.
The watch follows the collection’s layout wearing a 44mm cushion-shaped stainless steel case with a mainly polished finish, sapphire crystal on both sides, a fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s arched guard and 100m water resistance.
The dial features the traditional sandwich construction with cut-off Arabic numerals and hour markers that light up in the dark thanks to the back layer filled with Super-LumiNova, which again comes in “Luna Rossa” blue with a brushed finish, where in addition to the pencil hands also filled with luminescent material we find a small seconds at 9 o’clock that incorporates a day-night indicator, a date window at 3, a horizontal power reserve indicator at 6 and an extra central GMT hand with a triangular red tip.
The Caliber P.2003 automatic movement powers the latest 296-component Luminor, is the first movement developed in the brand’s Swiss Manufacture, which runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 10 days of power reserve thanks to its three barrels.
The watch comes attached to a blue alligator leather strap with matching stitching and trapezoidal steel buckle which adds an extra blue rubber strap and comes with a price tag of £13,200.
