Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points Lands In Titanium
Vacheron Constantin expands its sporty luxury lineup with the new Overseas Dual Time “Cardinal Points,” a regular-production model that evolves the concept first introduced by the highly sought-after 2021 “Everest” limited edition. While the earlier piece was exclusive, this latest release brings the same technical spirit and design language into a permanent collection.
A Lightweight Titanium Case Designed for Performance
The Overseas Dual Time “Cardinal Points” is housed in a 41 mm case crafted entirely from titanium, offering an optimal balance between strength and reduced weight. The case is water-resistant to 150 meters, reinforcing its capability as a versatile sports watch.

Finishing plays a key role in the watch’s aesthetic. The bezel, crown, and pusher ring feature a matte blasted texture, contrasted by brushed and polished surfaces across the case and integrated bracelet. The signature Overseas bezel, inspired by the Maltese cross emblem, remains a defining design element.
Dial Variations Inspired by the Compass
The collection introduces four dial variants, each representing a cardinal direction. The white dial symbolizes the North, the brown dial represents the South, the green dial is associated with the West, and the blue dial reflects the East.

Each dial features a multi-textured construction, combining a grained central area with a circular-brushed minute track and a lacquered outer seconds ring. This layered design enhances legibility while adding visual depth.
Applied hour markers and hands are crafted from 18K white gold and filled with luminescent material. Orange accents are used strategically, particularly on the central GMT hand and the AM/PM indicator, ensuring quick readability of the second time zone.
Dual-Time Functionality with Practical Display
At its core, the watch is built around a practical dual-time complication. Local time is displayed through central hour and minute hands, while home time is indicated by an orange arrow-tipped GMT hand. This is complemented by an AM/PM indicator positioned at 9 o’clock, allowing the wearer to distinguish between day and night in the reference time zone. The pointer date, located at 6 o’clock, is synchronized with local time and can be adjusted via a dedicated pusher.

The local hour hand can be adjusted independently, making it especially convenient for travelers crossing time zones.
Manufacture Caliber 5110 DT/3
Powering the watch is the in-house automatic caliber 5110 DT/3, which operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours.

Visible through the sapphire caseback, the movement features a dark gray NAC-treated finish and showcases traditional haute horlogerie decoration. The bridges are adorned with Côtes de Genève, the mainplate is finished with perlage, and the edges are carefully hand-beveled. The 22K gold oscillating weight is decorated with a compass rose motif, reinforcing the travel-oriented identity of the watch.
The movement is also certified with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève, ensuring high standards of finishing, precision, and assembly.
Interchangeable Bracelet and Strap System
The watch is delivered with an integrated titanium bracelet fitted with a triple-blade folding clasp and the brand’s Easy-Fit system, which allows quick micro-adjustments for improved comfort on the wrist.

In addition to the bracelet, Vacheron Constantin includes two rubber straps. One comes in a bold orange tone with a geometric pattern, while the other matches the dial color and features a sailcloth-like texture enhanced by contrasting stitching. Both straps can be easily swapped without the use of tools and are equipped with interchangeable titanium folding clasps, adding versatility for different situations and styles.
A Modern Take on a Proven Concept
The Overseas Dual Time “Cardinal Points” builds on a concept that blends robust construction with refined watchmaking. By transitioning from a limited edition to a standard-production model, Vacheron Constantin makes this titanium dual-time configuration more accessible while retaining its technical appeal and distinctive design.
With a price set at CHF 33,700, the new models position themselves firmly within the high-end luxury sports watch segment, offering a combination of lightweight materials, practical complications, and traditional craftsmanship.
