Oris Unveils The Limited-Edition Hölstein Edition 2026 Artelier Small Seconds
To mark its 122nd anniversary, Oris unveils the Hölstein Edition 2026, an exclusive limited-edition timepiece based on the recently redesigned Artelier collection. Produced in just 250 pieces, the new Artelier Small Seconds combines refined aesthetics with the brand’s in-house Calibre 401 movement, bringing together contemporary design and mechanical performance.

A Refined Take on the New Artelier Collection
The Hölstein Edition 2026 is housed in a stainless steel case measuring 39.50 mm in diameter, 11.10 mm thick, and 45.50 mm lug-to-lug. Fully polished surfaces emphasize the elegant character of the watch while highlighting the clean lines introduced with the latest generation of the Artelier collection.

The updated Artelier range was developed with a focus on modern versatility while retaining subtle design cues inspired by Oris’ heritage. The result is a watch that balances contemporary proportions with classic dress-watch appeal.
Distinctive Dial with Small Seconds Display
The watch features a minimalist light grey dial dominated by a polished small seconds sub-dial positioned at 6 o’clock. The mirror-finished surface creates a striking visual contrast against the matte background, while a bright red seconds hand adds a touch of color to the otherwise understated design.

A notable feature of the redesigned Artelier collection is its distinctive wedge-shaped hour markers. Inspired by Oris models from the 1960s, the polished indices taper toward the center of the dial and reflect light from different angles. Complementing them are faceted hands with blunt tips and slim luminous inserts that ensure readability in low-light conditions.
Special Anniversary Caseback
Turning the watch over reveals one of the defining elements of the Hölstein Edition series. The closed steel caseback is decorated with Oris’ iconic bear mascot, accompanied by concentric rings and the inscription “Hölstein Edition 2026”.

These details are laser engraved to create an iridescent mirror-like finish that produces colorful reflections when exposed to light, giving each watch a distinctive visual signature while celebrating the brand’s birthplace in Hölstein, Switzerland.
Powered by the Oris Calibre 401
Beneath the commemorative caseback beats the Oris Calibre 401, a manufacture movement derived from the brand’s Calibre 400 platform introduced in 2020.
The automatic movement features twin barrels that provide an impressive 120-hour (five-day) power reserve and incorporates enhanced anti-magnetic properties designed for everyday reliability. For this configuration, Oris replaces the standard central seconds display and date indication with a dedicated small seconds complication.
Like other members of the Calibre 400 family, the movement is engineered with a focus on durability, precision, and long service intervals, making it one of the most technically advanced movements currently available in the brand’s lineup.
