Oris Introduces The Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph In Ocean Green

Oris expands its Divers Sixty-Five collection with a new chronograph edition that combines vintage-inspired styling with modern performance. The Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph Ocean Green features a fresh color palette and a compact case profile, offering both aesthetic appeal and functional capability.

Stainless Steel Case with Ocean Green Bezel

The watch is housed in a 40 mm stainless steel case that measures 15.40 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of 48 mm, providing a balanced presence on the wrist. The case is fitted with a unidirectional rotating bezel, which includes an aluminium insert in a deep ocean green tone, complementing the dial design and reinforcing the watch’s aquatic theme. The bezel’s knurled edge allows for secure grip, even when wet.

Protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, while the screw-down caseback is solid steel, contributing to the model’s 100-meter water resistance. Vintage-style pushers are located on either side of the fluted, screw-in crown, enhancing the chronograph’s retro look while supporting functionality.

Bi-Compax Dial Layout

The dial is finished in silver-grey with a sunray texture, serving as a neutral base for the dark green sub-dials. The layout includes a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and a running seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Applied indices and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring legibility in low-light environments. The shield-shaped marker at 12 o’clock provides a visual anchor to the vintage-inspired design.

Calibre 771 Movement

At the heart of the Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph Ocean Green is the Oris Calibre 771, based on the Sellita SW510. This automatic chronograph movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and delivers a power reserve of 62 hours. It also includes a hacking seconds feature, enabling precise time setting.

Strap and Bracelet Options

Two strap configurations are available. The first is a black Cervo Volante deer leather strap, made from sustainably sourced leather and secured with a stainless steel pin buckle. Alternatively, the model is offered on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp, providing a more robust, sport-oriented option.
