Oris Adds A Military-Inspired Green Dial To The Divers Date Lineup
Swiss watchmaker Oris has expanded its modern Divers Date collection with a striking new matte green dial, adding a fresh option to its vintage-inspired dive watch lineup. The latest release retains the upgraded case, bracelet, and movement introduced with the collection while offering a distinctive colorway that gives the watch a more rugged and outdoors-inspired character.
The new model joins the existing black, blue, and beige dial versions, providing enthusiasts with another choice without altering the successful formula that has made the Divers Date one of the brand’s most appealing everyday dive watches.
A Modern Evolution of an Oris Classic
The Divers Date was introduced as the successor to the popular Divers Sixty-Five, bringing several technical improvements while preserving the vintage styling that defines the collection.

Its stainless steel case measures 39 mm in diameter, 12.10 mm thick, and spans 46 mm lug-to-lug, dimensions that make it suitable for a wide range of wrist sizes. The case combines vertically brushed surfaces with polished sides and a polished caseback, creating an attractive balance between sporty and refined finishes.
One of the biggest upgrades over its predecessor is the improved 200-meter water resistance, doubling the rating of the Divers Sixty-Five and reinforcing its credentials as a capable modern dive watch.
Matte Green Dial With Vintage Appeal
The highlight of this release is undoubtedly its matte green dial, which introduces a fresh personality to the Divers Date collection. The subdued finish avoids excessive shine, giving the watch a utilitarian appearance that pairs naturally with the brushed steel case.

Applied hour markers are filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent readability in low-light conditions. The hands also feature luminous material, emitting a blue glow in the dark for enhanced legibility.
A practical date display at 6 o’clock keeps the dial symmetrical. The white date wheel with black numerals blends neatly with the surrounding markers, allowing the complication to integrate cleanly into the overall design.
Ceramic Bezel for Greater Durability
Surrounding the dial is a unidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a black ceramic insert, offering improved scratch resistance compared to traditional aluminum bezels.

The diving scale features minute markings for the first 15 minutes, followed by larger interval markings for the remainder of the 60-minute scale. Combined with the domed sapphire crystal, the bezel contributes to the watch’s blend of vintage aesthetics and modern durability.
Powered by the Oris Calibre 733
Inside the Divers Date is the Oris Calibre 733, an automatic movement based on the reliable Sellita SW200-1 architecture.

The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and provides a 41-hour power reserve. Additional features include:
The movement is visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, allowing owners to admire the mechanical components and the brand’s distinctive rotor.
Bracelet and Rubber Strap Options
The new Divers Date is available with Oris’ updated stainless steel bracelet, featuring a slimmer profile and polished rivets that reference vintage dive watches while benefiting from modern construction.

The bracelet also incorporates quick-release spring bars, allowing owners to switch straps without tools.
For a more casual or sporty look, the watch also comes with a black rubber strap secured by a stainless steel buckle.
