Orient Star Unveils M45 Collection Inspired By The Pleiades
Following the success of the M34 collection, inspired by the Perseus star cluster, Orient Star now introduces the M45 collection, drawing inspiration from the celestial beauty of the Pleiades star cluster.
The watch comes in a black case with a gradient grey textured dial with moon phases.
The dial is crafted through advanced techniques that create a starry effect inspired by the M45 Pleiades star cluster. It is stamped with intricate patterns that shift with light, mimicking twinkling stars. A specialized gradation machine applies unique paint to transition the dial from grey at the centre to black at the edges. Finally, a thicker, transparent coating is applied, adding depth and evoking the vastness of the universe.
The cutting-edge dial features grey-plated Roman numerals and faceted leaf hands, a power reserve indicator at noon and a moon phase aperture at 6 o’clock with a date pointer.
It is housed in a round stainless steel case with black PVD featuring 41mm in diameter, 13.80mm in thickness and 49mm in length. Sapphire crystal, straight lugs, onion-shaped crown at 3 o’clock, screwed open case back and 50m water resistance.
Inside we find the In-house F7M65 automatic movement with 22 jewels, an accuracy of -5/+15 seconds per day, reaching 21,600 Vph and offering up to 50 hours of power reserve.
The watch arrives attached to a black Cordovan leather strap with a deployment buckle and is a limited edition of 120 numbered pieces priced at €2,850.
