Orient Star Presents The Modern Skeleton In Four New Shades
The Orient Star Modern Skeleton debuted in 2014 completes 10 years of life this year, now arriving with four new colours on the dial, including silver, ivory and champagne that join the permanent collection and also an all-black limited edition of 600 units.
The watches come with the expected open heart dial. On it, we can find applied faceted hour markers with lume tips, two centre hands also filled with luminescent material, small seconds at 6 o’clock, a power reserve indicator just below the twelve Roman hour marker and an open balance wheel at 9 o’clock.
The watch is housed in a 41mm wide, 12mm high and 49mm long round stainless steel case, smooth bezel, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock, open case back and 100m water resistance.
As for the different variants, we find one in full steel with a silver dial, another in steel with elements such as the bezel, crown and indexes plated in yellow gold and a champagne dial, another in steel with details in rose gold and ivory dial, and last but not least, one in black-coated steel with black dial.
Inside we find the 24-jewel F6F44 automatic movement, which comes with hack seconds and accuracy of +25/-15 seconds per day, operating at 21,600 Vph and offering up to 50 hours of power reserve.
The watches arrive attached to a steel bracelet that matches the case with a folding clasp and prices range from €905 to €1,025.
